"On Friday afternoon I visited the GastroPit for late lunch. They have outdoor seats, but I decided to eat inside. The restaurant is long and narrow with a window front, like many other strip-like shops. Dark floor and ceiling with wooden table tops a comfortable mood. This is now our new favorite BBQ place. The double-cooked smoked wings are AMAZING. Everything else tasted great. The interior has a funny mood and the expanded terrace has plenty of space.

So amazing! The place is super sweet, food is amazing, and the staff beyond friendly! The terrace is beautiful on a summer day and word on the street is that they will eventually expand!! Very recommended!! Owners are fantastic and STL locals bring BBQ to the next level! A

I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves recognition. The atmosphere is humble, but friendly. They make cocktails with freshly pressed juices and handmade syrups. The sauces are all homemade and the smoked meat was terrible. I would recommend this place every time for food and service.
