"This is as old school as it gets here in NYC. Since the late 1800's, Jahns has been serving the community and stepping in here, its amazing to be apart of that history. I sat down imagining the many people from the past decades and century who have come through this establishment. And the ambiance just brings you back in time. The service here is amazing. The waiters are on their A-Game, tentative, thoughtful, always making sure you're accommodated. I had the breakfast here and haven't had a chance to try out the ice cream so I'll comment on the breakfast. The breakfast is your standard, basic diner fare done very well. No complaints from me.
