"I wanted a good steak with baked potato, plain and simple, and couldn't decide between JD's and the Black Cat. I still might give Cat a chance (seems fun, plus who doesn't love an in-house liquor store? , but I'm really glad I decided on JD's. The steak was unfortunately under-seasoned but the cook was very close to the Medium I'd asked for, and the sauteed onions were phenommmmenal. Entire Staff went out of their way to help me with craft beer choices, cutlery, and the like... with the only, pretty important exception of my bespectacled direct Server (Katie, maybe? . Just wish she cared, even a little bit."

Came in later in the evening, and the service was great. Our order was made pretty quick, and we were checked on often. Will definitely come back.

It's definitely a busy spot. The service was decent but a little slow, they may have been understaffed. The cheesesteak that I ordered was okay, I would try something else off the menu next time. I love traditional steak fries and theirs were excellent. Definitely will come back.
