"After a nice two hours hiking in nearby Greenwood Open Space Preserve, five of us went to Jia Tella's for lunch. So glad we did. It was a Friday and three of us went for the Friday special which was Tamarind Noodles with Chicken, a bowl of Hot'n Sour Soup, and Cambodian Salad similar to a slaw with peanuts and basil). Jia tellas has the best employees. I went last night and all three of the front of house acknowledged myself and my family, made small talk, helpful with the menu/ ordering and super engaged. That alone will have me coming back. The food was also great and left feeling light vs. weighed down and gross. I also love that they have a patio for my kids. It was such a positive experience.

Good food, order at the counter service. I didn't know what to expect with Cambodian cuisine and the woman taking orders didn't have much guidance. She mentioned that some people say this dish is kind of like Pad Thai or this other dish is kind of like Pho... She said one of her favorites is the spicy Basil chicken so I went with that. I am going with another approximation here to describe it... The rice noodles and sauce reminded me of Pad see ew from a Thai place. But with less sweet soy base and more heat. Ordered takeout. The papaya salad should have ONE piece of papaya in it right? Why would I even think I needed to look in the takeout bag to check? So we called but their phones are not working. Of course not. Got the delicious looking iceberg lettuce salad with the thinnest slice of tomato ever cut, see picture with a tiny cup of dressing, oh yum. Completely tasteless. Through it down dink. Even my sink hated it. Ordered the lemongrass chicken entree w And not surprisingly there was barely any chicken! Surprise!!! I'd bet 1/2 a chicken thigh. But more importantly, they gave us chicken with green beans. Not what we ordered. Needless to say no wonder they were empty when we walked in to order...

"came here on a Wednesday night for my mother's birthday dinner. Definitely expensive $140 bill for 3), and ask to speak with a manager if you have any food restrictions, but good food. Loved the lamb trio and the Okra fish. The Samosa avocado chaat was like a deconstructed samosa with lots of fresh avocado and a yogurt sauce. Delicious. Service, wise disappointment for such an expensive place. They offered nothing special for a birthday dinner and unfortunately we had a misunderstanding with our order. My husband hates Cilantro and we asked for Cilantro on the side also said he was allergic). But every article of our food came covered or included with Zilantro, even after we tried 2 more times to clarify after our starter arrived with it. So a tip if you have food restrictions to be super clear, maybe try “No, what at all” or I would recommend to ask, maybe talk to a manager when you order?"

"This place we found by chance. We were in the mood for sushi and on the way home from Santa Cruz we gave this a try. PRO TIP: Order before you get there. Eating takes a while and they don't do Dine. They have seats, but very limited. FOOD: Miss Piggy Baked Roll 10/10 has Speck, who was funny first, but honestly one of the best we ever had. We also had others who were good. SERVICE: The man who takes your order is a bit on the rude side, but I don't think it means to be. They also gave us free food that was cool in the end. I wish they had Dine. "I recently tried the avocado and Provolone sandwich at this restaurant and it was delightful! The friendly staff made me feel welcome and I even got a Coke to go with my meal. I loved the cool shirts they were wearing, especially the ones in my favorite color, orange. They even wished me a good Tuesday, which was a nice touch. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for their excellent service and the delicious sandwich I had. 10/10!"

"This place is the Real Deal. The pizza was perfect. Crisp crust not overdone, pepperoni was enough for this carnivore, olives and fresh cut tomatoes. The manager was friendly and the server who brought the food to our table was pleasant. I don't eat fast food or junk food and this was A deliciously crafted with care and fresh ingredients. You can walk from the Scott's Valley Hilton in five minutes. Highly recommend. What a great place. Has a huge TV with Olympics. Beer and soft drinks available.chinet plates is a nice touch, they don't leak."

"I loved this cute little place, there’s both indoor as well as outdoor dining , I enjoyed my breakfast here, started with the in-house mocha but I didn’t take whipped cream, mocha tasted very good not overpowering sweet , my husband was really happy with eggs and chorizo and I took the Cajun sausage and eggs. Yummy and great service."
