"I was a little wary to try Kathmandu because I was worried all of the food would be spicy, but I was gladly proven wrong. The food has amazing flavor and nothing is too spicy unless you order it that way. I want to have the goat curry every day of my life!!! The menu looked like it took pictures off the internet to show what the food may look like, so when you got your meal it looked different, but I didn't mind once I tasted it. I thought it was fun to be adventurous in a city that is known for their meat and potatoes."

The food is really authentic and terrific. They were very busy but there were no short cuts in the food preparation. The garlic nan was the best I have ever had.

We found this restaurant on Open Table so we decided to try it out. The food was outstanding. Everything was seasoned perfectly and hot when it arrived at our table. I would recommend to anyone that visits Rapid City to try for something different that is delicious.

We have been coming to this restaurant once a week since it opened. We love it! We have been to Indian/Curry restaurants around the globe and find ours, in little ole RC, to be the best. The people are always pleasant and kind and the food is fabulous. The wine list keeps getting better.

"My family and I escaped the worst state in the nation, California. I lived in San Diego for 30 years while I was in the Navy. After moving to Rapid City, I didn't expect to good Mexican food. I was wrong! El Sombrero is delicious Mexican food. You don't want to pass this place if you love Mexican food as much as my family and I do. Our new favorite restaurant!"

"My husband and I are both Vegan and tried this restaurant for the 1st time Sept 15th and had the lunch Buffet. We told our host that we were vegan and he kindly showed us all the vegan options on the buffet, which was half the buffet! He then had nann w/o butter brought to our table to have with our lunch. The menu also has a lot of options for vegans and vegetarians. The staff was very friendly and the food was very delicious. Seasoned very well without heat but they are very willing to cook to order. We will be coming again and again. Our new favorite restaurant in Rapid City."
