It was to come with steak, chicken and shrimp but they were out of steak. I had a choice of a double order of chicken or shrimp. I chose chicken. We finally tried this place and everything was perfect. The food was so good I took half of my falafel wrap home for work the next day because I knew I'd want it again! And the girl at the counter (not sure of name but she wore a septum) was so sweet and funny.My brother is the typical southern meat and potatoes guy and has a set comfort zone with food, so I was surprised he wanted to try Mediterranean. He said the the fries were the best he's ever had and he loved his meal.

I always have a good time when I’m dining at Lazizas, whether its here or their original location in Evans. This location is located right in the heart of downtown Augusta, so its a convenient stop if you’re already down here for business or just to hang out. I had the Gyro platter which comes with rice, your choice of hummus, pita and an additional side (I went with fries and upgraded it to feta fries). Their portion sizes are great, the food is hot and fresh, and everything is always delicious. Staff is very friendly and the service is quick. Definitely try it out!

Y'all, this place is flipping amazing!! I was kinda worried because I have a thing with food textures and will absolutely not eat fries when they get soggy (I always have to ask for a separate plate in restaurants because of this) but let me tell ya, they were the best dang fries I have ever had in my life! I got the steak and shrimp loaded fries, and they were worth every. Single. Penny! The steak was seasoned to perfection and not over cooked or dry, the shrimp were awesome and also seasoned extremely well!
