"Reasonably good but inconsistent. The Arroz Verde was 5-star but the Pulpo La Plancha was a bit rudimentary with its sliced olives, sliced red onion/celery, and pudding-like aoli. The Octo was overcooked. Big bummer were the ten dollar saffron rolls. Musty/funky and dry, passable at no charge but unacceptable at $10 +4 for butter. Oysters were full, fresh, and flavorful and I appreciated the crafty cocktail sauce and mignonette. Server was pleasant but all rehearsal and little knowledge. Wish this place was still Sides. I've been here once for lunch and once for dinner. Both experiences were on point. The service, atmosphere, and seafood are all just amazing. Actually, every dish we had in both meals was amazing. This may be my favorite restaurant in California. "I've been coming to Los Olivos Wine Merchant for years. They are NIE disappointed from there service, environment and excellent quality food and wine. I was just there for lunch and had an excellent salad and it was fresh and full of taste. The server was excellent and while I was waiting, had an excellent conversation with one of the employees. I can always depend on a beautiful afternoon in los olivos and lunch in this excellent restaurant. Look forward to the next visit, thank you!"

"Being regulars over the years to Los Olivos, we have dined numerous times with our dogs on the patio of Nella Kitchen Bar (and previous businesses at this location . On 10/9/2023 we were turned away and told that as of 2 months ago they instituted a no pets policy unless they are service dogs. So in a town where almost every business is dog friendly, they have chosen to shun pet owners. We crossed the street to Los Olivos Wine Merchant Cafe and had a fantastic dinner with our two small well-behaved dogs on the patio. We also splurged on a $100+ bottle of wine. (Sorry, Nella! I also highly recommend Ellie's in Santa Ynez where we always get amazing service and outstanding food...with our dogs on the patio. If you have beloved four-legged family members who go everywhere with you, don't bother with Nella. They don't want you as a customer or your money."

"A basic market that also sells adult drinks. Your beer cave was tidy. I found something on the expensive side. I bought 2 six packs of craft beer and a 3/4 pound container of a tomato salad, all on $41. Fortunately, I found everything very delicious."
