The beef tatar is out of this world!. Great choice of original deserts. The wine list privileges some excellent vintages from Wallis, with an acceptable price level. But the choice of French and Italian wines is limited.For the first time, we found the service a bit disappointing: the restaurant was full and the two waiters struggled to keep up with the clients orders. We had to wait very long for the wine to be served, glasses would not be filled, we had to wait for the bread.....and one of the waiters was a bit...

Ich gehe gerne in dieses Restaurant – das Essen ist einfach göttlich und wir hatten dort endlich einen guten Service! Wir empfanden die junge Kellnerin immer als abweisend und unhöflich. Die Einrichtung ist schrecklich, aber das Essen und der Wein machen uns jedes Mal sehr glücklich.

Have been going to the Cafe des Alpes for 20 years and have always enjoyed the experience Once again the food was excellent but the service was poor bordering on the arrogant. Is it because they now have a Michelin star? Very long wait in between courses (nearly 4 hours for dinner) which would not have been such a problem if the staff had offered an explanation or been a little friendlier. They did offer 2 complimentary coffees! ! Such a shame the traditional Tarte aux Poireaux is no longer on the menu.

Ich war immer zufrieden mit dem Essen im Café des Alpes und gehe seit 20 Jahren regelmäßig dort hin. Dieses Mal war es jedoch eine Enttäuschung, wir warteten fast 4 Stunden auf eine Mahlzeit, keine Erklärung vom Personal, das nicht besonders freundlich war. Das Essen war gut, aber ich vermisste den traditionellen Lauchkuchen, der schon immer auf der Speisekarte stand. Und die Ente war sehr durchschnittlich. Vielleicht ist ihnen der Michelin-Stern zu Kopf gestiegen? Sie boten 2 Kaffees an, um sich zu entschuldigen.
