"A downtown Grayslake gem. The atmosphere is EXACTLY what you'd want in a neighborhood coffee shop, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, right on the main street of downtown Grayslake. The coffee is always solid, they always have the usual staplesplus they rotate an interesting flavored variety if that's your thing. But the real treat is the baked goods absolutelyphenomenal variety of really yummy muffins, cakes, cookies, scones, etc. So good! I've also had breakfast here a few times andthe food is always great to go along with friendly service. "Bills Pizza is always delicious. Lots of toppings that cover the whole pizza right up to the edge. Appetizers tray came out and not only cooked to perfection but everyone enjoyed. Mozzarella sticks, fried zucchini mushrooms. The cabin decor is great the animal and fishing trophies are exciting to see for adults and kids. The only draw back to the location the arched ceiling is finished wood and reflects sound causing the place to get very loud. Like being at a concert and yelling to converse with the person next to you. Really need to add some sound damping panels or more trophies up on the ceiling."

"Unsure of why there is a burger named “the Alamo” considering the ingredients on it , some may take offense to it . Also, when the staff takes the orders they tend to rush, or make you feel like you are ordering too much food? Like it’s somehow their inconvenience. Poor attitude . Good food overall, the place is clean and has great portions . 3 star overall at best."

"It's a nice place, took my stepdad there for his birthday. The food was great, service was fantastic. Our server was attentive and had a great personality. "I ordered a small Chicago classic with sausage and mushrooms for pickup. When I arrived to pick it up, the cashier said that he cannot find my order. Than a woman, who was working, overheard me when I showed the cashier my recent call list on my iPhone. She said she was from the Highland Park store and that the order was accidentally placed there. I then told her I am not driving to Highland Park. She said I don’t have to and that if I would wait 30 minutes, they will give me one for free. That was satisfactory for me so I agreed. When an employee brought me the pizza, I noticed that it was large, not the small one I ordered. I was really overwhelmed and I have to say that Lou Malnati’s really is generous in rectifying a mistake!"
