"Terrific lunch special that hasn't changed in a couple of years: 2 slices and a drink or one slice, salad, and a drink. The slices are topped with your choice of toppings, and I've never been disappointed with how they turn out. Something terrific is that their drink fountain is all Main Root sodas--nice change from standard soda fare. This is a small location, so if there's a lunch rush, there will be a line, and you'll wait a while for your food to be ready. But your pizza will be fresh and hot. Fair trade off. As for their other menu items, I can't speak to them. I'm a lunchtime special gal."

Hidden gem…fresh ingredients, hot pizza, great crust. Have already been here a few times and most definitely will keep coming back.

I was in town for business and fortunate enough to come across this wonderful pizzeria. While the ambiance may not be the greatest, the friendliness and quality of the food more than make up for it. I ordered a combination calzone and it was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the crust was tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by if you're craving a slice.

Great swiveling onion rings! This place is the bee's knees, the cat's meow! This quaint little place is a hidden gem nestled in Austin's eastside. The staff was super friendly. Rafael and Amanda made great suggestions when I couldn't decide on a pie. I ordered a pie to go (I got in a traffic jam and made it home with a cold pizza) but even cold it was so delicious we came in the next day to try it hot and it was Phenomenal! I just found our fave place to munch on some real authentic NY style pizza!

"One of my favorite restaurants in the world! Service was stellar! Attentive, friendly, and efficient. Cocktails, Spring Fling and Havana 3am, were delicious, well balanced, great depth of flavor. The Hot and crispy Italian bread was as delicious and yummy as ever. This time we ordered the Caesar salad and Beet, Orange, and Fennel salad since it was so hot and we were looking for something light and both were refreshing and excellent. My Brother in Law's wood grilled bone in New York came and it was well done, not even a hint of pink, but the kitchen fired a new one and it was delivered a perfect medium rare. The server comped our three desserts for the issue which was appreciated. The Pacific Halibut was a little too salty for my taste and also a little over done but flavors were good so kept it. For dessert, the olive oil cake was the standout for us with the espresso afogato running a close second. As others have noted, make sure to make your reservations well in advance!!!"

"Excellent food!!! And the service was amazing. Our waiter Lawrence was very informative regarding wines, alcohol and food. Excellent staff all around from the minute you walk in to the minute you step out. Heads up if you order the pork chops it's more than enough for two ppl. I myself ordered the Texas wagyu steak and the billionaires potatoes were superb as well."

"The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious, and my waiter Austin provided me with exceptional customer service. He informed me that the menu changes daily, which I found to be a wonderful concept. The snapper and chocolate mousse cake were both delicious. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, and I am excited to bring my wife to this unique restaurant."

"Service was fine until we ordered dessert. The desert took over minutes it was bananas foster and when it finally came out the waiter poured cold syrup on top of the bananas and they barely lit. The resulting meal was ice cream cake . Raw bananas and cold syrup. We had already waited for so long for our dessert that there was no way to complain. Additionally during the minutes we were waiting for dessert, the waiter never asked us if we wanted a drink or anything. The last hour of our meal was very disappointing. This is the first time I have ever had a bad experience at Eddie V’s. And I’m not sure what was going on but it was not good"
