"they stay away from here, they seem ready to close. we sat for 30 minutes on a beer and a manhattan that was really a cosmopolitan (huh? . the restaurant had only two more tables throughout our visit. the only server for the entire restaurant, which also tends bare and is perhaps the boss/owner, was just as lost what service means. did I mention that while he made the 30-minute drink, no other table ever received a service?"

very good eating served as small tellers that are good to share. owners and employees were very attentive and our group had a great time.

we were surprised how good this was. the place was practically empty on a Friday night at 7 which is crazy because the food and cocktails were really a tasty bite.

everything was very good with taking the chorizo and cheese dish (so salty we couldn't eat it). the dishes and the crabcake dishes are awesome! spicy chickenskewers were also very good. this is the location has a smaller menu than the naperville location, but has a more beautiful atmosphere and is larger in the room size. Grilled spa gel was good as drinks. service was excellent.

"Excellent choice for that special dinner, and even better for the not so special ones. In fact, it will make those even more memorable. Very nice bar area, wonderful wine selection and hundreds of whiskeys to choose from. Niche does a great job of providing an upscale dining experience in a casual setting. Nothing is over the top, except the food. Service is timely and friendly. Appetizers were very nice, in using the Niche burger which almost makes a meal. The halibut and seared lamb entrees were perfect. Niche is centrally located, worth the walk if you're staying in town. You won't be sorry you tried it."

"We were a group of 6 celebrating birthdays. None of us had ever been to Wildwood before, and we had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic; everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent, although our server was quite busy and the pace was a bit slow at times, she kept us informed about our order. Overall, we had no complaints. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Wildwood, for a lovely celebration!"

"Very satisfied with our experience here. First, the service was good and you can tell all the staff are pros. Nick is such a sweetheart and truly loved what he was doing (and he said the owners treat him well which is always great to hear). The food was fantastic! Definitely a top steak house in our opinion. The filet was so incredibly tender, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, top 1 or 2 steaks I've ever had. The garlic mashed potatoes are so buttery and yummy! Drink menu had many great selections. We had the cherry amaretto cheesecake and it was a true, homemade from the heart, delicious cheesecake. Our new go-to steak house!"

"This is a small family run business. They have renovated a house and made it in to a restaurant. Love the small, family run feel. Have had several outstanding meals from here. The pasta this last time was amazing, just had lots of leftovers! Can't wait to go back."

"The tacos were unbeatable! I tried the Camote al Pastor (sweet potato sauteed with pineapple morita salsa, onion, cilantro, pepitas, vegan avocado crema and corn tortilla) and Esquites (roasted zucchini with poblano corn, vegan avocado crema, sweet potato crisps and corn tortilla), and both were equally delicious with a generous amount of toppings. The prices on the in-person menu were higher than the online menu, so an FYI. It's also a little hard to find; you have to go up the stairs on the side of the building (we went to the Mexican restaurant next door at first, confused). The outdoor patio is also adjacent to a parking lot, and the chair seating for the patio tables was oddly too high for the table, so the two of us sitting on the sofa seating were looking up at our friend sitting in the chair (it was a little awkward). The service was a bit off the evening we dined here, though. Our waitress was very nice but seemed a bit shy and VERY slow and a little sloppy despite there being just one other table dining when we were there."
