we have often eaten there, great eating, late eating is slow, 30 minutes to get a hamburger out, with no one else here, it can not be right with children and no manager in the night shift. after a year we probably spent our last dollar there, children laughing in the back, no respect for the customer without adult. sad

I absolutely love mallet brothers. There catfish basket with waffle fries is to die for it is so good! And they always have fresh cut lemon slices for your sweet or unsweetened tea. It's open and spacey you don't have to worry about feeling to close to someone else, The room is always warm and the smell of good food hits you as soon as you walk through the door.

Stopped in on a Sunday night at about 7pm so I’m very surprised they were even open. Also I want to preface that I’m from central Texas and accustomed to world class bbq. This place isn’t bad! Even on a Sunday night! The meat was pretty flavorful. It was all over cooked but I assume that was from being in the warmer all day. It was over cooked not burnt! Big difference. Beans were good. Banana Pudding very good. I would definitely eat here again.
