"We showed up at 4pm…excited about the 4-6pm happy hour that’s advertised on the menu. Went to the bar area like the menu says, sit down asked the bartender about the happy hour, he says “they don’t have one”. We were confused and pointed out the advertisement on the menu, he said oh, well it’s a dollar off a regular frozen margarita. So don’t come here if you think they’re going to have a decent HH. We decided to go sit at a table to be more comfortable since there really isn’t a HH. We ordered drinks, my first one was a Spicy cucumber marg, it was pretty good. I've been coming here since the 1980's. It's my very favorite place. The food is excellent! It doesn't matter what you order. The beef melts in your mouth. The chicken verde will blow you away. Carlos and Charlie's, are crazy good! It's already crowded most days. Enjoy.

I have to say that the manager, I believe her name is Emily really went above and beyond. They clean with very very strong cleaner and my friend and I were sitting in the bar area eating. We started getting nauseous and a head ache and had to leave. They really use too much scented fabulouso and the entire restaurant is very strong, but that night it was crazy and we got sick. The main dinning room didn’t smell that bad, but by the time we sat there we got super sick. She was so sweet, so apologetic and took care of us both. I’m so grateful bc this is our very favorite restaurant. Thank you again.
