"We were not greeted at the door but was called by a waitress to our table, as the cafe was crowded. Another waitress followed us to our table and barated us to just walk towards the back to which we replied that we were shown our table. She was so rude and aggressive towards us and our waitress. If seating is a problem at this establishment then they should have someone at the door to greet people and not follow the customers to their tables and raise their voice to them."

There is any number of coffees, cakes, drinks or simple meal available here. There is no doubt that the staff are amongst the friendliest in Paderborn; the good numbers at the cafe every time I have been there show this to be the case

Das Markt 5 Café ist ein verstecktes Juwel an der Ecke des Paderborner Marktplatzes, ein kleines, privat geführtes Café und eine Bar, die neben ihrer umfangreichen Teekarte exzellenten Kuchen serviert. Ich liebe den Ort jedoch wegen seines Ambientes, das sehr gut gemacht und komfortabel ist. Ein Muss für alle, die sich bei einem Kaffee unterhalten möchten

I have lunched here on many occasions with various friends and have never been disappointed. The service is great and the cakes are even better and I believe that some of them are baked on the premises! In the summer there is a great little seating area out the back in the garden, it 's so quiet out there you wouldn 't believe you 're almost in the center of town. I would definitely recommend this little 'hide away ' for lunch with friends :
