Max And Leo's Pizza Sudbury

As always, the pizza is really good, as are the salads. The rigatoni is welcome addition to the menu. But the portobello mushroom tacos are great! One is filling but two make a meal. There aren't many places to recommend outside the Boston area (as snobby as that sounds.. but I'd easily return to this small restaurant and even try the one in Newton. (Not sure if they're the same menu yet, though).

I live in Stow and often go past here on my way home from work. Lately most Pizza I have been trying has been amazingly frugal on the cheese. Not here, a nice balance of sauce and cheese. The crust was a little burnt in a few spots but nothing that would prevent me from ordering again. I had pepperoni, mushroom, and roasted red pepper. Also, the pizza was ready fairly quickly on a weekend. Staff was pleasant on the phone and when I picked it up. Overall, a pretty good pizza.

Coal fired pizza? Followed by the Brooksy pizza, which was excellent. This my sound odd but both my wife and I tasted burnt marshmallows when eating the crust. It sounds odd but was refreshing and led to her requesting my crust when I was done with a slice. The atmosphere was quiet on a Sunday afternoon and the food was excellent.
