I have to say first of all that as a 28 yr vegan, Mediterranean food is my favorite after American salad fare. It broke my heart when ELF closed during the pandemic the only veg Mediterranean place in all of LA. Well Mazala opened in Nov 2020 and it’s veg with oodles of clearly labeled vegan and dare I say I like it even more! Mazala is Israeli food and you won’t find rice.
