"This is such a great place! I go there at least twice a week for the amazing food and experience. It feels like I'm back in Mexico. They sell a bunch of imported products like pinatas, molcajetes, and tortilla presses. They have fresh groceries like cilantro, avocados, and cactus. Meat in a butcher case like chorizo, adobado, and al pastor. They have a case of Mexican cookies, 4 homemade salsas, and best of all they have a deli case of homemade food like carnitas, pozole on Saturdays, chicharrones, birria, and something new everyday and it's all amazing! From mole chicken to pork with cactus to a whole head of a cow! It's so good! It's a husband and wife and they're so nice!"

Love this place, good selection of ingredients and very tasty prepared food, and totally friendly, helpful service. I drive from West Seattle to come here every ~month or so, it's one of the best Mexican markets I've found in the Seattle area.

(Oct-2020)I went on Saturday when they have birria and barbacoa tacos. The meat was clean and delicious, and I have to be honest, their salsas are the best in the area tasty and spicy (these salsas leave you wishing more). The tacos are a good size and well prepared. I really recommend trying them, If you like something authentic and good quality

Carlos and Sonia are my favourite and most fun store owners in Seattle area. If you want that mom and pop biz feeling (though they're young entrepreneur) ... come here! If you want tasty food... come here! If you want Mexican dry goods and fresh produce... hurry on! Try their homemade carnitas, menudo, tamales, chicarones... also get the crunchy chapulines for my fellow foodies! Oh, I never leave the store without the queso fresco, either.

"I can't even count how many times I ordered from U:Don. While I had not the pleasure to eat, I have become a bit more regular with takeout. portions are excellent, noodles are thick and filling, generous with the meat and give up, and cheap. I could not be happier with my experiences so far, and plan to order regularly. if they are not familiar with soy-based udon, they do one please and instead try the kakuni pork suppe udon as it always makes me absurdly cozy, especially in winter!"

"The place gets warm with the open kitchen despite the ac and a crack window so might be better to sit outside or do to go.This is a place where you order and pay up front , then bring out the food and you bus your own tables. Table and water are in a corner.My fried said her fried rice was too salty.My fried chicken bowl with no rice was tasty so my review is a reflection of the food I got. The chicken was not soggy despite covered in sauceThe rice bowls that both of my friends got were steaming hot. They had to wait for it to cool down before eating."

"I want to say thank you to Cathy! She provides the best service!!! Homegrown is one of my favorite salad place. I always ordered from the Capitol Hill one and they have default to dressing on the side. This is my first time ordering here but they have dressing mixed in. I was soooo hungry and when I saw the dressing mixed in, I wanted to cry because that is way too oily for me. I came back to the store and someone told me I have to specifically mention that I want the dressing on the side. I was thinking I’ll never order from here anymore. I wanted to cry. BUT Cathy came out and said she want me to satisfy and she can make one for me!!! OMG The best service!!!! Thank you Cathy"

"the server on the counter looked at me and then suddenly went away when it was my time to order. I stood there confused and then another person came to help. her version of a keks was super dry, covered with a very rubbery jam. I asked for a hot mocha, it was barely served lukewarm. it is not worth a 2nd attempt."
