"Our dinner was outstanding--food and service. We had made an early reservation and were seated in the the least noisy place in the restaurant which helped. Our server asked if we were attending a performance and made certain he accomodated that time frame. If there were a way to tone down the noise and still retain the ambience mit would be ideal. I had a fabulous duck entree and my companion had osso buco. We were very happy with the entrees and the accompaniments!"

No longer live in St. Paul, so was delighted to find that Meritage has expanded. Nice zinc bar and lovely outdoor. Nice additions to an already very good restaurant.

Second time I've been to Meritage this time was for brunch. We had terrible service waiter practically threw things on the table and ran away. One person in our group finally said something to him and of course after that, the service improved. Ridiculous! Very mixed feelings about going back the food was fine, not great.
