"My friend and I came to dinner at the restaurant 2022. The lobster bisque had no lobster in it, the first-class certified Angus flat iron was Blande (came precuted in Sauce) and the dessert was a joke. The “Birthday Cake ice cream sandwich” has been described to have “confetti cookie crust, cake battery ice cream, warm vanilla fountain”. What I received were two overcooked funfetti cookies with vanilla bean ice cream that were stuffed between them. I was completely disappointed with this $60 meal. The club housed bingo games in the dining area. The game lasted over half of my time, so loud that it is difficult to talk a normal voice. The food was very basic for the price. meat tasted dry; Seafood was not fresh; Dessert was not different from cheap retail cookies/ice cream. The view was good. But windows are small and difficult to make pictures through reflections.

I was surprised to see the added 'Service Charge ' on the tab I asked waiter if he added tip, and he said 'no, we always add that, tip is separate '. Why was I not informed of this charge when making reservation? We thought we would enjoy the views from a restaurant we wouldn 't otherwise have access to we were seated in a non descript area off the bar and I just don 't think a $200 tab for 2 people was worth it.

The beautiful view of Chicago and excellent service were overshadowed by the disappointing food at this restaurant. My lobster bisque was lukewarm and my daughter's ravioli was dry and lacked flavor. Even the dessert, a chocolate peanut butter cake, was a tiny, stale slice that did not meet our expectations. We chose not to complain and simply accepted the fact that eating at this restaurant would come at a cost. It was a letdown, especially considering it was our family's first trip to Chicago.
