"at the beginning, the customer service here is top notch. the ladies who worked during the lunch hour were all great. we had our first red flag when we told our server that this was our first visit and their answer was: "oh, they had made a reservation and came to dinner instead." a bit strange reaction, but turned out that she was probably right. the building itself is located in the inner city and has a lot of character. we all asked for lunch specials and the served very suggested a pizza that comes up with makkaroni. I ordered it when she used the word fantastic to describe it. When it came out, I was a bit shocked, as it was literally a pfeffer chocolate with makkaroni, which was just stacked on it. the whole pizza was soggy and flooded with the cheese sauce. the makkaroni itself tasted good, but the pizza itself was not good at all. one of my friends ordered a sandwich based on our server proposal and when it came out, she got a completely different sandwich from the menu. The whole experience was just a bit strange because the lunch time was best in order. Perhaps their evening meals are much better than their lunches. probably not back soon."

"We’ve eaten at Niko’s several times over a few years and have had good food. Last evening however was a disappointment. My husband and I both had a Caesar Salad and the dressing appeared to be some sort of a vinaigrette instead of a typical Caesar dressing. There was a sprinkling of pre shredded Parmesan from a bag. I ate a few bites and stopped. My husband had the Filet Mignon, Creamy Mushroom pasta dish which was in need of seasoning. I had the Sicilian Rigatoni which quite simply tasted like tomato juice and I couldn’t detect any seasoning; no oregano, thyme, chili flakes, garlic powder, basil. We shared a tiramisu, which from the time we ordered until brought to the table had begun to melt however, the flavor was still excellent. The bread they serve is excellent. I realize waitstaff is overworked almost everywhere but I think our Server could have done a much better job. We had to flag him down for everything. I’m posting this for the simple reason that I’d like to go back again and hope they might perhaps address some of their shortcomings. Food cost have gone up and they, like most other places, are passing those cost on and I don’t mind paying for good food. This wasn’t good food."

"jessica was our waitress. very personal and sweet. there has never been a time that I was unsatisfied with my service, but she really took care of all very well in our party of 3 adults and a child. it's my best birthday and she was really excited for her. then she informed her about the free cookie she received for birthday. it brought the most amazing big warm gooey chocolate chip cookie with chocolate puzzle. it was happy between 3 of our party members and they were all very satisfied. I am so glad that she chose mellow mushroom for her birthday dinner."

"excellent eating, especially mutton and dessert. the drawn courts were more than they were mashed as other drawn courts I have ever seen. I had a burger that was surprisingly dry. the woofers were good, but at room temperature came to the table. All others really enjoyed their eating, and we had a nice time."

"we ate today for the first time at colby. eating was absolutely some of the best! it could be one of my favorite places! I didn't get a picture of our crab-sharp mushroom diving, but it was one of the best things I've ever tried. the crab taste was actually noticeable, I think it had to be really crab and it was served with a large bowl of pita brot slices. we both had salads that came with a piece of cheese-bread. is shown our entrees that contain the salat and an additional side. I had the Hawaiian bun with kartoffelbrei and my friend had the pork with sweet potato fries. both were very large portions, and we both took enough for another meal home. he had 4 pieces of pork chop. if you've never placed this on your list."
