"First time at this restaurant. I have been to mostly all of the Sushi restaurant in the area and I must admit, Mizuki Grill tops them all in terms of quality, service, price and uniqueness. The drinks, in this case, Lychee martini was probably the best I ever had. And I'm even comparing with some of the most expensive Sushi places in LA. Jim (owner) and Mani (hostess) was very friendly and accommodating. I was skeptical at first as the place was cavernous with hardly any patrons for a Friday night. Apparently, the establishment just finished a remodel 2 weeks prior. Needless to say, I will be a frequent diner and will spread the word on this hidden Highland Park gem."

it was the middle of the dinner rush (6:15) on a Saturday and the restaurant was completely empty. no great sign for a sushi restaurant. we still tried. the food arrived quickly and had fun fish and aftertaste. we couldn't finish, pay and leave. both my wife and I were sick for the rest of the evening and the next day. we will not come back
