I made a trip to the restaurant based on the promising descriptions of their fresh juices and wide selection, but was disappointed to find the establishment closed upon arrival. The door was locked and there was no one inside.

I stopped by this morning, waited around 5 minutes to place an order, but despite being the only ones there, nobody came out to serve us. It was disappointing as we had been looking forward to trying this place and possibly making it a regular stop on our way to work. The experience was odd.

I had a very unpleasant experience when I arrived at the restaurant just before closing time to buy some juices. Despite the sign on the door indicating that the restaurant was open, the staff refused to let me in. I had driven for 30 minutes to get there early and was disappointed that I couldn't get my juices.

"We went on Saturday 09/23 for our 20 year anniversary dinner. What a mistake this was. The waiter told us he had 24 years of experience at the restaurant. I dreaded him from the moment we sat down. We wanted a nice bottle of red asked if the restaurant had a Somali as he was giving us attitude zero knowledge of wine. Not long after we placed our order appetisers and main. He asked if we wanted the chocolate soufflé. Our 12 yr old is a chocolate addict so we knew this would take at least 20-30 minutes so we placed the order early on. After serving wine I asked if get had any special drinks for kids. He said nothing apart from sodas or lemonade then he said Shirley temple. My son who is ultra healthy drinks sparking water with lime asked what was a Shirley temple l. The waiter responded don't you know? Moving on onto ordering for me as I am a foodie I asked it's a toss up between the swordfish/John dory. Well jerk I was not asking what John Dory is I asked about how the two dishes lineup. Anyhow I ended up telling him we do not see eye to eye and basically I don't like his attitude. Towards the end the soufflé came and after our mains we had intentions of ordering other desserts but because he did not check I was done. On our way out I told the bald guy who I have now learnt is the owner was ultra dismissive. I don't know how anyone who is a foodie thinks this is an ok restaurant let alone mediocre. If you are a foodie you know service and quality lacking in both areas. The WAITER told us he had 24 years experience. He can stick his 24 years where it belongs."

"I’ve always loved Pete’s service however yesterday’s experience was awful to say the least. The woman making the drinks a bigger set white woman wearing a bandana treated me so rudely and quite honestly I felt that I was treated differently because I’m Latina the other customers were treated nicely and were white. It’s so disheartening to live in a world where I’m treated differently because of my skin color and ethnicity. Hope Pete’s does better."

"Phenomenal Italian food! They have a gluten-free menu that you do have to ask for but has a large selection! My girlfriend, who has a bad allergy to gluten, had the best time there with me! We shared a gluten-free spinach and artichoke dip with their bread, and I have never had gluten-free bread that good and soft! The dip was very good too. My girlfriend had the gluten-free chicken carbonara and it was exceptionally good! They make it with a chickpea breading. I had their regular gnocchi and it was super soft and the spices added were very flavorful!"

"Went in and ordered for Take-out. Not one thing missing, and everything that was ordered was just as requested. Definitely recommend the strawberry shortcake!! it was PERFECT!! . . . 'FOOD-GASM ' '!! i ordered take-out, so the ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries and shortbread were all separately packed (thank you for that . it will easily serve 3-4 people. the Cheesecake, of course, is ALWAYS good! thanks again :"
