"This review is for their lunch buffet. Cozy restaurant in central Mankato. Started with an undistinguished bowl of beef barley soup. The buffet is basically four premade salads and a selection of sandwiches. The Caprese salad was nice, but would have beenmuch more colorful and tasty with locally grown tomato varieties. Likewise, the fruit salad should have had fresh watermelon(which is now at its peak). The sandwiches were quite good, especially the Reuben. The Filet Mignon and Scallops were amazing. We went for my birthday. There was a sweet thank you note on the table to thank me for enjoying my birthday there and I was treated to a free dessert.

I took my family for dinner on a Saturday evening. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The steaks were done perfectly with great flavor. Veggies and potatoes were delicious. Perfect portions. Prices are very fair. Overall, I'd give ourexperience a 10! Definitely a favorite destination for us! Well done!!

Great food, great staff, and great atmosphere. I have gone to Olives two times since new management and am very satisfied with everything I have eaten. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was well staffed and extremely kind and its is a verycomfortable atmosphere. We will be going many more times and I look forward to trying more. Thank you for bringing back theCheese plate!

"Date night at Nolabelle Overall this was a fabulous evening out This was nolabelle's soft opening, so we did not expect perfection as this is their time to figure things out and get the kinks worked out. For an appetizer Michael had the pretzel covered goat cheese balls and I had the blueberry chicken tacos. These were both good. What would have made them amazing was a little more seasoning. lf salt and pepper would have been on the table both apps would have been dynamite, Next I had the arugula apple salad and Michael had the tomato bisque with a grilled cheese dipper My salad was really good. Sadly the grilled cheese was cold, the cheese was no longer melty and the soup was luke warm. It tasted good but I am sure they would have been better if they had been warm. Lastly for an entree Michael had the shrimp and grits and i had the pork schnitzel. The shrimp and grits were seasoned to perfection! The grits were the best I have ever had. The salad and the fries with cheese sauce vith my entree we very good. Fries were crispy and the salad was bright and fresh. The pork cutlet was over cooked, so it was a little tough. Honestly, one of the best meals we have had in mankato and I hope this place makes it. The drinks were good and a decent price. The wait staff was very friendly and very apologetic for the slowness in the dining area."

"Food is amazing and love coming here. Just for egg lovers, get fried eggs. The scrambled is from a box, with different texture and taste. I forgot to ask for fried and couldn't eat the eggs. But a great place other wise."

"Local business just a few blocks from a local brewery but they embarrassingly only have major distribution beer on tap. If you are going to eat local go somewhere you can drink local too. Very disappointing. The young man serving was great, atmosphere a fun towny bar feel. Food was good but nothing special. Again, if we wanted ok food with beer from the major distributors we could have hit any chain. Eat local, Drink local. Wish they would have brought in beers from the local brewery couple blocks away."
