"Always great coffee and great food here. You will not find a cooler coffee shop in NJ, with so many delicious coffee and other drink options, the coffee ice cubes, and one of a kind and often hysterical names for speciality beverages.They make our favorite pork roll egg and cheese on a croissant in Cape May, and their avocado toast is super simple but so well done it always hits the spot. That white balsamic drizzle makes it! The people who work here are so nice and super friendly. They also move quick. My husband and I got the cinnamon iced coffee with coffee cubes as well as turkey bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. We love that there was a kid area my child could play at while we ordered and sipped our coffee. There is also a outdoor table and chairs.Food: 5/5

I have been going to Ostara's since it opened 5 years ago. I love this place. I usually get an iced latte with coffee cubes, but this week I got one of their specialty drinks they always have a theme. This time around it was wrestlers, and I got the Brett the Hitman Horchata. It was good. I get the baked goods (supplied from a local baker) and the breakfast menu looks great.And you can buy from local vendors for art or jewelry, sometimes flowers and produce, and always a lot of books. And free parking too!

"My wife and I both had seafood dishes, Thai Salmon and I had pescatore. Excellent choices, to go along with our appetizer, calamari. Service from our waiter and bus girl were excellent. We luv going to dinner here during the holiday season and will continue the tradition."

"I was wrongfully charged when visiting earlier this summer on 7/26. I remember the waitress offered to switch my drink since the first was too strong. When I ordered a pastry, I wasn 't informed it had coconut until it was brought to the table and then immediately told them I was allergic. I was having a tough day, visibly emotional as I was catching up with friends in the dinning area and was admittantly a bit distracted so I didn 't notice how much I was charged as we were checking out. $19.15 appeared on my credit card statement for apparently 1 coffee drink and the waitress said they didn 't take tip via card so I had stupidly left a $5 bill in the tip jar for them being so understanding and patient with my replacement drink. Why would someone be so crude to charge you for their mistakes? There are better artisanal coffee shops that don 't kick people when they 're down."

"It was a Birthday celebration which I mentioned in reservation. We made my husband wear a Birthday banner and only the person at the next table wished him a Happy Birthday. Was not looking for anything special but thought at least the waitress might have said something. The main restaurant was not very busy and have been many other places with alot more to offer for the prices. Would not be rushing to go back. The food was good so no complaints there. Seems like the bar area is more appealing for food as that area was crowded."

"The entre was burned on the bottom (chicken francaise). The Merion potatoes were not particularly warm. The roles were stale. When I received the check I was charged for two soup appetizers which were included with the meal. The waitress reversed the charges without problem"
