"Only another incredible meal here in Pho 33 at their brand new location in South Salt Lake (sadly, their original midvale location that was closer to my home is closed). We started with some cream cheeses that were super good. My son and I both ordered a medium bowl of Pho 34. The Pho 34 exchanges the ox tail for rib meat. The rib meat reminds me of Kalbi ribs in local Hawaiian restaurants so delicate and full of taste. The broth is incredible, and although I had many good bowls of Pho throughout the valley, this broth is exceptional. The other thing that distinguishes a bowl of Pho 33 is how much meat they put in your bowl. It is loaded with practically every bite that contains a delicious...

Best Pho in Utah. I'm leaving the way to visit this place. I tried over seven different pho restaurants in Utah and this one tastes the best. It's not like California where Pho is good in most places.

My new favorite pho spot!! M G! Where was I? The small size of Pho is large enough, very generous with meat. Oxtail is delicate and soft. Egg rolls are delicious, delicious and they? huge! Service was great and fast. Our water was always filled. Can't wait to go back there.

The best in Utah! We love coming to Pho33. It is such a family-friendly environment and its food is amazing! We loved the restaurant when it was at its old location, so we continue to South Salt Lake to eat here and it is worth 100%. Best Pho, Best Pot Sticker, Best Lemon Chicken!

"I speak as a tourist. I was delighted this place has dedicated, on-the-menu options – as it is apparently open late, it would seem to be worth keeping in mind for that reason. This, and the empanada's great value, lead me to give it three stars. That said, there were some oddities. I got the vegan arepa and the vegan empanada. They were both filled with *exactly the same ingredients* and the empanada was bigger than the arepa – but the arepa costs more than 2x as much. Given these circumstances, and the fact that I liked the empanada more, I can see the empanada being a great deal for a vegan looking late night or for a bit of variety. Both of them were on the bland side, however, and far from imaginative. I did enjoy the plantains in both; otherwise, it was mainly black beans and some avocado. (From the menu, it appears that their several vegan items seem mainly to be rearranging these same ingredients. The small amount of chimichurri I was given added some flavor and was ok, but did not knock my socks off. None of it was bad, and I do think they made at least the arepa fresh with decent ingredients, but there just wasn't much flavor. Finally, they use big styrofoam packaging for to-go, which is actually enough to mean I would avoid eating here again. (Not being a local, I don't know how common this is, but I know it's not even nominally recyclable in SLC and that not all places do it. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-05"
