I've never been here before, but it's better tasting than my favorite restaurant in Salem. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, and it was delicious. It had a lot of meat in it which was kind of nice. Usually soup doesn't have that much meat.... the price was a little bit high I thought for soup, but not bad.I would definitely recommend Pho Hong Phat to anyone looking for authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurants. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is calm.

The BEST Phở I have ever had! If you order this dish, be sure to take the broth before adding hoison sauce or Sriracha. Otherwise you won't be able to really take the sublime blending of broth and spices that make this dish special. After you have added the nail leaves and bean sprouts to your bowl, to ahead and put some sauce on the little plate to dip the meat in as you eat. Just don't add sauce to the bowl.Proprietor is roughly proud of the food they serve. Very accommodating and polite. Pay no attention to this of the tight parking.
