"First time dining Pho La, the service was quick and the food was fresh and delicious. They accept cash and credit cards. The prices are reasonable too. We ordered the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork, the beef pho and the plate with grilled chicken. Also, we ordered the vietnamese ice coffee and a avocado shake, which totaled around $40. My only issue was the ice coffee, it didn't taste like the usual Cafe' du Monde French brand coffee flavor. It had a vanilla after taste, which I don't like."

Overall great food for its price. Pho is great, but someone might feel that beef brisket is little tough. BBQ pork tastes great, but has too much bone with too little meat.

This, I think, may be the best vietnamese take out in South San Jose. The atmosphere is super welcoming and friendly, and the food is authentic and healthy. You can't really go wrong here. Reasonably priced too.
