"Really great!. I was looking for an alternative to the usual turkey/ham Thanksgiving catering for our 24/7 office staff to be served on Thanksgiving day. Joe catered two turkeys, ribs, brisket, and a mountain of sides including stuffing that was simply perfection to almost all who had it) for a very reasonable price. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, brisket was great, turkeys were.... well, turkeys. I would never have ordered roasted turkeys if weren't Thanksgiving) Everything was spectacular and the restaurant is like returning to one of the off-the-beaten-track places I've gone to in Virginia and the Carolinas. It's not so beautiful when it is! I was not better at any grill in Sacramento and Roseville than what I almost want to say is better than that of my Opas and my father LOL! The Mom and Pop places are always the best. I'm sad to say I'm ashamed to wait so long.

"We stopped by JJ's for dinner tonight, and it was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly tasty, the service was friendly, and the location was charming and clean. We shared the delicious ramen soup and Hawaiian BBQ dinner. The soup was packed with great ingredients alongside the noodles, and the meat was superb. "Everything was so delicious. The Ultimate Combination Rice Plate has a really great pairing of flavors with the meats, egg, rice and pickled veggies. The meats are so so tasty and flavorful and the sauce coats the underside of the rice just enough. The Strawberry Matcha Latte was very good and the Pandan Bubble Waffle was also a great flavor and texture. Love this place, will definitely order again!"

"Server was very polite and attentive. Garlic friries were amazing Lol enjoyed that more than the shrimps Alfredo. Shrimp Alfredo was really bland, had no taste on it. My son got a corn and pommes, the cornhound was slightly burned, my son took off the baked part. The chicken strips were okay. Chocolate milkshake was really good. Pricewise I feel like I paid too much for the quality of food. Kitchen staff were very loud and had several dishes, super loud surroundings, the restaurant itself was very cold. It was a very disappointing experience."

"Looking at the reviews, it looks like the one stars reviews are coming from people who just give a lot of one star reviews for multiple businesses. All employees I have crossed paths with are very kind, clean, and attentive. Sometimes there are busy moments, it depends on when you come in. You just need to enjoy the moment and the music and be PATIENT. We're all humans. The food is fantastic. My personal favorites are the turkey pesto delight, cheeseburger pizza, verdura flatbread, salmon salad, and calzones with creamy pesto sauce, mushrooms, bacon, artichokes and chicken. Sometimes it's a hit and miss with the amount of sauce and cheese that's put on it, but I like that it's not as dry as other places that have calzones. They provide a great amount of sauce and cheese to give flavor. Also, if there's ever anything wrong with your food, say something! They will fix it up!"
