"I love San Ysidro Ranch and the Plow and Angel. Ambiance, food and service usually all wonderful. Very pricey, but wonderful! So I chose the Plow and Angel for my birthday dinner (and it was a BIG birthday!! : . I have to say it 's the first time I have been disappointed. Don 't get me wrong, the food was fabulous, as usual. The service was very nice and although attentive, not overwhelming. The big problem was with the wine. My friend and I were quite shocked with the prices for a bottle of wine! We searched the wine menu for quite a while until we found a nice sounding wine at $90. And that 's what we thought we ordered. But, when the bill came, the wine cost was billed at $175!!!!! Almos...

A culinary festival!. A winner in all categories. FOOD is always a treat. Fresh, innovative, perfected, always delicious. SERVICE is impeccable. AMBIENCE is picturesque, charming, cozy and comfortable. For price and effort, this is Santa Barbara's finest. If you plan to dive out, this is the place to rival your own kitchen and cooking skills, no matter how great your cooking ability can be, this is hard to beat.

First of all, this review has nothing to do with the food and service, both of which were excellent. I specifically booked a table at Plow and Angel. I received a text shortly thereafter confirming my booking at Stonehouse. I called back and I was assured that my booking was for Plow and Angel. The online menu for Plow and Angel was quite reasonable. We were seated on the patio and the menu prices were substantially higher than was shown online. I can only surmise that the online menu has not been updated or it is a bait and switch lure. I am hoping that it is the former rather than the latter. It just put a bit of a damper on an otherwise glorious evening.

"Sure it's a food truck. Come here for the best fish chips you've ever had. It's brilliant at what it does fries cod in a light flavorful crust. The shrimp were also delicious as was the chowder. Gotta assume the calamari was also outrageous but we ran out of room."

"This is my new favorite restaurant. The food was great, beautiful wine and spirits menu and the customer service was excellent. I always felt well maintained without anyone floating. Our waiter, Raphael, was attentive, had great suggestions and was willing to fulfill our special wishes. The manager, Leslie, came by to introduce himself and was also very friendly. This is a restaurant I can't wait for. I highly recommend it and would give it 10 stars if I could."

"Excellent choice for breakfast, brunch or dinner. Service is good, atmosphere is relaxing and elegant. Mother's day Brunch was really good, all dishes were delicious and fresh. I personally had the Chicken Breast Club Sandwich, it had some of the best avocado I had in a sandwich. I recommend trying to give Lucky’s a try!"

Risotto was Bland. helped that the goat cheese was swirled. Again lacking depth and taste. Kombo of Veggies a little strange. Frog legs. Tomato relish with him was strange taste. frog legs even quite small compared to others I had. $16 Enjoy total, but would probably not return. came from the Cassoulet, which is very difficult to find."
