"My husband ordered the Tomahawk Steak, which was listed as market value. We never dreamed market value was $125 . I ordered the file and never ate it. I ordered it medium and it was done well. They took it back and medium was rarely brought back and was never given time to rest. You at least removed the fillet from our bill. Overall, the experience was less than satisfactory for what we finally paid. We also sat right in front of the door, which meant that we were constantly hot with heat and humidity every time a party came because there was no waiting zone. The Hostess booth was an Ipad on an end table next to one of the tables."

The first time we love it, definitely a place to come back. We all enjoy and we want it more, although we were so full, happy to know that the owner is a female. Great service for all good foods?

A small group of friends and I visited this place while I rent a house nearby. We were very pleasantly surprised by the height and quality of this restaurant in a well-known beach town. Most of the group got a fish dish and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. The wine selection was extensive and we have a bottle of red and white that met the place. The bread with Cacio e Pepe butter is a must to begin. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something more than bar food at a beach bar in the city. This place also had one of the coolest sinks in the bathroom?

"After reading the reviews and looking at the website, we were so excited to eat here. While the food was wonderful, we found the service and the atmosphere to be lacking and had a difficult time enjoying the food. We had a reservation for 7:30 PM, showed up on time and were instructed that the other two-tops were finishing up their meal. We had no problem with that, as the restaurant can’t and should not rush their patrons. We waited outside with the other party that had a reservation for 7:30 PM. Through the window we could see that both two-tops had finished eating and left around 7:45 PM. The tables were not cleaned for quite a bit and we were sat after 8 PM. This was a slight annoyance but we were still excited to be there. Since we had waited so long, we were ready to order pretty much immediately and told our server Melissa this; she told us she had to get her book and she would be right back. She was not. Another 10 minutes passed while she did other things and even went back to the table next to us who had already ordered their drinks while we waited patiently to order anything. When she finally got to us we were able to order drinks, the tuna appetizer, a ribeye and the mahi. When she came back with our drinks we inquired about the lamb that was mentioned as a good pairing for some of the wine and were told that the restaurant discontinued the lamb due to staffing shortages. Interesting, as we had seen a table outside with lamb but we let it go. 5 minutes later our server returned again, this time to tell us they were out of ribeye and that they could give me the filet. Okay fine, but she was not at all apologetic and even a little pushy about the filet. At this point, we are annoyed, and I guess it was a little obvious because a different server started assisting us at this point. We later found at that in fact the restaurant did have lamb and that it was one of the specials along with scallops that had been offered to other tables and not to us because our server not only neglected to tell us but blatantly lied about. Truly, at this point you’d think the restaurant would do anything to try to make reparations for the blatant lies and bad service… but no, we paid full price for a meal we didn’t order, for being seated 30 minutes after our reservation, and for our server to just abandon us at a table because she was embarrassed about being caught in said lie. The only saving grace for the night was really how good the food was and the other server Anna that came to help us and was honest about the circumstances. For two individuals who have worked many years in the service industry, specifically serving at and managing restaurants, to say we were disappointed us an understatement"
