"My boyfriends family and I came here to celebrate our birthdays, and let me tell you, everything was made with passion and the food was so fresh and flavorful. We all got different dishes and desserts and shared them. There wasn't a single item we didn't like. The presentation of every dish was beautiful. All of the meat and seafood was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend even ordered shrimp scampi and it wasn't on the menu but they still made it! The pasta was homemade and delectable. What a joy to find a wonderful restaurant that isn 't noisy or trying to be trendy at the shore. This is simply fantastic food at a good price in a warm, inviting setting. Owners Alexandria and Chris have created an intimate dining experience perfect for lovers AND families. One of the best of all of the dining options from the Highlands to Bayhead! A stunning menu of homemade pastas and desserts, with daily specials. Bring your favorite wine and a hearty appetite for multi-course feast of the senses! Yum!

"The hostess upon arrival was extremely short and borderline rude considering my large party arrived complete and prompt. Upon being seated our drink order was taken and cocktails arrived roughly 15/20 minutes following, appetizers were along the same pace and lunch entrees to follow. A lunch service of roughly 2 1/2 hours in a to put it lightly stale environment wasn’t ideal for a Saturday afternoon. Old Edwards reputation for elite hospitality missed the mark big time to put it as politely as possible. Won’t be returning."

"When I think of eating out in Highlands, Paoletti 's is ALWAYS at the top of my list. Highlanders know that this is the place to take friends and family and those who are new to the area. Highlands has a terrific blend of high quality restaurants to choose between, but when I run into people who have once been through Highlands, they invariably mention that they ate at that Italian place . Paoletti 's has a fantastic and well varied menu, a terrific and well experienced wait staff, and an energetic ambiance. I have favorites that I order off of the menu (white clam sauce linguine (grilled jumbo sea scallops but the nightly specials (which I do try on occasion challenge those favorites. Also, two favorite appetizers are stuffed dates and stuffed artichoke leaves (not always on the menu, but you can ask for them! . I haven 't been early for the small plates menu, but I plan to try it very soon. My only disappointment is that they are not open for lunch! I will offer one hint if you are booking a reservation on opentable.com ... book well in advance and if you are looking for a reservation in the 7:00 time frame, call the restaurant directly. Do yourself a favor and don 't miss out on Paoletti 's if you are in Highlands."
