"back for a second visit with our friends because the first was so good. homemade pasta dishes are delicious, plentiful and comfortable. the Butternuss Quark ravioliis on special were delicious! the pork and the mushroom pasta dish with a distinctive cream sauce was another special very enjoyed. a friend enjoyed the grilled salmon that looks fresh and tasty. our server was very friendly and helpful. look forward to another meal"

Service was very, very slow and poor. Asked about dish and was misinformed by waitress. Then when dish arrived, the eggs tasted like fish. They must have not cleaned the gril. Overall terrible experience.

we had a girl last night for dinner and eating was all delicious. I had added the special butternut quash ravioli, one had the shin matt, one of the beet salad with garnels and a mixed green salate with shun. all the entrees were so good and we had not been in a place for dessert. our waitress was also very friendly.

portola kitchen is underoccupied. No one has greeted us five minutes. after that sitting, no waiter approached us until I got one too foot. a first course was delayed and arrived with a deer. otherwise it was great to eat. hopefully this is temporary until they pay enough to keep the personal. we like this place very much.

"We decided to enjoy a meal outdoors and chose to sit in the courtyard. To our dismay, two gentlemen were discreetly smoking cigars, which unfortunately tainted the ambiance as the smell pervaded the entire patio. None of the PC staff would speak to the gentlemen in an area where smoking was prohibited. As for the service, it left much to be desired. Our server seemed disinterested and appeared bothered when we asked questions about the menu. A simple gesture of a smile can often make a significant difference in a dining experience, but that too was missing throughout our meal. We had requested lemons, but our server failed to return with them. It was up to me to head to the bar and fetch them myself. In summary, while the setting could have been perfect for a delightful luncheon, the presence of cigar smoke and the lackluster service marred our experience. I hope Pacific Catch considers these areas of improvement, especially in terms of ensuring its staff is more attentive and responsive to customer needs."

"This was a special occasion for my wife and me. We had excellent service and all parties from the restaurant were very courteous. We dined for lunch and it was comfortable except for a bee or two. The restaurant has small fans for the table, but after a while we decided to change to a table inside."

"really disappointed by the way the new management has changed this location. since 2015 I came to avanti and in the last two paintings I tried to order from them, had great problems. under the new administration they have changed the menu and the crust leaves something to be desired. they also got rid of their classic Greek salate, which my family and I love so much. from here two months ago ordered and tried to place an order by phone, as I was driving and informed that they did not take telephone orders that were heard of such a thing. I tried to order from them last night and their online site would not accept my credit card. I know it wasn't my credit card because I immediately gave up ordering avanti and ordered by another local pizzeria and used the same card. I would jump through hoops to eat here further if the pizza remained good, but unfortunately even the quality of the food has gone down. we will look for a new pizza place that will be revisited right away."
