"The Hostess never greeted us, we stood there for a few minutes before she even moved then she walked off. She turned around and asked if we were coming. We waited another 10 minutes before a waiter came to get our drink order. He never checked on us or offered refills. I had to ask for a refill when he brought our food. He forgot our sides then asked what sides we ordered. As I ate I had to catch him again just to get a refill. Great location for quality seafood. Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. Really nothing but good experiences here. This place has a cool design. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.

Not this location but as a chain it has been hit miss for several years. However, this particular restaurant was really good! The food was very satisfying the staff was prompt. I would definitely go here again if I'm in the area.

"The food was very good, and the service was OK, once they discovered that we had been sitting there for a while... we noticed that others who came in AFTER we did got immediate attention, presumably they were regulars, as the server greeted and chatted with them before taking their order. "We met another couple here for a Valentines Day lunch. The hostess was very nice, advising us about street vs garage parking. We were parked in a 2 hour zone which she said would be ticketed if over the allotted time. The other couple arrived and we put in our drink and appetizer orders. The table shared a plate of deep fried crocodile bites (see photo). They were $9 and just okay, not flavorful or unique. They were searched with a little dish of what appeared to be thin ranch dressing which added a bit of flavor. I believe I had to ask for the drink menu and was surprised that it was limited and no prices were published. I supposed my surprise was because they had such a long and beautiful antique bar along one wall. They have an extended drink menu online, this one appeared to be more of a smaller Happy Hour menu. Everyone was happy with their drinks and the wine pour was generous. Maybe 7 or 8 ounces. We put our entrée orders in and they arrived in a reasonable time considering the place had gotten much busier. My blackened Snapper was perfect. My side was not what I expected, it was kind of a thin potato chowder dish but tasted fine. I was expecting some kind of potato casserole but evidently did not ask enough questions. Everyone seemed fine with what they had ordered. We had driven up from KC and planned on lingering a while over dessert. The waitress didn’t offer us any before presenting the check, which I thought was odd. We are obviously of retirement age, unlike other diners who appeared to be heading back to work after lunch. And it was Valentines Day… Anyway, I inquired about chicory coffee but it was not an offered menu item and asked for the dessert menu. She showed us the menu, I got coffee and the table shared a slice of bourbon pecan pie. The food was reasonably priced, and appropriate portions for the time of day. We probably won’t make the trip again, but might stop there if on our way to Omaha or points north."

"Spent the day antiquing in st Joseph Missouri and found this great Irish pub for lunch. Easy to find , right on the main drag with plenty of street parking as well as a back parking lot. Fast and friendly service. There was a decent sized crowd for a Sunday. I enjoyed a cheese burger while my friend had a BLT without the bacon. My buddy is a vegetarian and never has any trouble finding something to eat no matter where we go! Hi ho has a vegetable pizza on the menu that sounds good as well as salads. The house made chips were excellent actually much better than the French fries. I will return to try their Rubin soon ."

"My husband and I stopped in to this lovely little spot for lunch. The ambiance was nice, the service great and the food was excellent. I had the soup/ salad combo choosing the fig pear arugula salad and the tomato basil soup. Both were very good, although I might choose a different combo next time as the yummy balsamic glaze salad dressing was somewhat at odds with the crisp acidity of the tomatoes. My husband had the crustless quiche with the French onion soup. Both were tasty and well-prepared. We each had a glass of white wine. It was an exceptional dining experience on a lovely day enjoying St. Jo. We’ll be back!"

"5/15 , 5/20 5/21/23 Hidden Gem Loved the local atmosphere,loved the food,loved the warm welcoming company of this establishment. Vintage decor. Great food service. First visit was a to-go-order...so delicious I went back for dine-in. What luck because it was an annual give-away charity event for children, enjoyed seeing the kind community heart they have. If you have a musical instrument you don't know what to do with look no further. They will have it again close to Christmas. The children and adults loved it! The next day we went back for an afternoon featured band, it was a packed patio! Man was it Awesome! You really need to stop in, grab a bite and a drink , just find out what's happening,I know you will enjoy it. I will make this pub a must visit everytime I'm in St. Joseph. The cheesecake is MMMMMM GOOD! I think this would be a cool place to host your party events."
