"I've never been to Romania so I can't say how authentic it is, but it probably is considering I'm always the only non-Romanian eating here when I visit! What can I say? I love a good steak, but I find beef a bit too heavy so I come here for their pork steaks (ceafa de porc), something I don't find in many other restaurants. It's also fun to get some mamaliga (like polenta) on the side instead of the usual potatoes, and a glass of Romanian wine helps it all go down a treat."

After a long time, it was great to enjoy some old favorites. Especially the deserts bleeded me away this time. Look at the photo of the crepes with jam I also published. Don't skip desert in this place.

Authentic Romanian cuisine. Everything we ordered reminded us of the dishes made by my mother and aunt. While it is a bit pricey, it’s the only Romanian restaurant in the area, so it’s definitely worth it. This was our second visit to NYC, and we can’t wait for our next trip!
