"I ordered two 12-inch steak subs and a large order of onion rings for myself and my son at Alanos. I requested extra cheese and pickles on the side, but unfortunately there was no cheese or pickles in our order. The subs and onion rings were dry and overcooked. Despite the negative reviews, I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt as it was not busy at the time. However, I was extremely disappointed when I returned to my hotel room. I spent $37 for a subpar meal. Thank you for reaching out to me about my order, and I appreciate that you took steps to improve. I am now grateful for the excellent service and will continue to try meals from Alanos. I highly recommend trying their pizza. Thank you, Alanos, for striving to satisfy your customers. "Fantastic addition to the downriver eating scene, instant hit their packing them in. Chef's created a fun higher end crafted menu in comparison to most around town. Many local sourced ingredients everything cooked to order. Unique selection of Breakfast n Lunch goodies to choose from. We had a jumbo build your own omelet with fun funky looking scrumptious taters, Beer Battered Onion Ring house made fluffy, Triple Threat on Onion Roll Corned Beef, Pastrami n Beef Brisket outstanding delicious. "Little bummed out I been looking forward to trying this coffee house out! I ordered a Mocha Frappe!! I been to many coffee houses and the presentation it's better then what I got. I get that all places are different but even photos shared by others from this coffee house, looked cuter then what I got. Don't get me wrong the taste is good but presentation not. Also didn't get a welcome vibe, was not greeted. Frappe taste was 9/10 presentation 5/10 customer service is ok. I'll probably try them out once more since I'm looking for something local to be my go to. Maybe today was just an off day and I did enjoy the taste of my frappe. I'll update once I go again."

"We experienced great service at this local establishment, a small family-owned business run by a kind elderly man. Despite the initial emptiness when we arrived on a Thursday night, the place quickly filled up with customers for the final rush of the evening. We enjoyed our ice cream treats while taking in the lively atmosphere. Our group tried a variety of desserts, such as a banana split, a brownie-filled blizzard, and a strawberry cheesecake blizzard, all of which were delicious. The total bill came to $21.xx, and we were happy to leave a generous tip when we paid $23. The interior of the restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and our orders were served promptly. Although the medium blizzard was smaller than expected, it was just the right size for me and was thoroughly enjoyable. We also bought a box of Heath Dilly Bars to take home. We plan to return to this place regularly, especially now that we have moved closer and want to support this local gem."

"From valet to hostess to chef everyone was amazing. Every ingredient of every dish was perfectly cooked and amazingly flavorful. Love this place and will be back. Certainly have to seek this place out in terms of location but it's worth every minute of the drive and for what you get this place is an outstanding value."
