"I went to this place with a couple of friends to a weekend buffet . I am a big food foodie and I absolutely enjoyed eating in this restaurant . The ambience was also decent and the place was neat . I felt the price of the buffet was also very reasonable and quality and the variety of the food was also was great . There are a quite a few Indian restaurants in Hicksville , but I feel Sakoon is highly underrated and by far one of the best Indian restaurants here. I would highly recommend people to visit this place if you are looking to indulge in some delicious North Indian cuisine ."

Not bad Indian food. Went there for dinner and they put papadam out for the table. Chicken tikka masala was okay but the tandoori chicken was a little dry. Nan was a little bit soggy, but okay. Service was excellent; friendly staff made sure everything was good. Not sure if there are other Indian places nearby, but if you're in the area during the lunch buffet, I could recommend it. Won't blow you away, though.

We went to the buffet on Sunday afternoon. At 12:30. The food is pretty good for what you pay. $10 on weekends and $9 on weekdays. They'll give you fresh naan at your table. The service was great when we arrived, but the staff was overwhelmed later when the restaurant was full at 1:30 and we had to wait a considerable time for naan and water, etc. The line on the buffet was huge. Make sure you get there early for a good experience.
