"There was confusion from the beginning. We asked if we could go to the bar and wait an hour. I repeated bar, but the hostess looked confused so that we turn around to go and she said we can go to the terrace bar and get drinks, but no food. We went up to the terrace bar and the sign said here is a menu ordering food with the bartender. Finally, we set ourselves and enjoyed drinks an incredible view of the lake and the best cheese curds I had ever had(I had a lot) seriously excellent. Maybe we have a new employee. I'll go back for at least the cheese curds."

Our server was nice, no issues with staff. Beer was excellent, enjoyed a flight. The gold star beers are worth a try for sure. We shared appetizers. The cheese curds are excellent! Beer pretzel was very soft and melts in your mouth. The pub fries were disappointing. Otherwise, had a great time.

We went to Salmon River brewery for dinner on a Friday night in McCall at the beginning of May, so it was quite easy to get a table. It was so loud in there, just from the acoustics and the background music was so high that we couldn't talk about the table. My wife had what we think was the SRB Burger, and I had the Elchburger, and we shared the baked macaroni and cheese. It was all very good.

Great location. Many possibilities for sitting outdoors. The roof was great, with perfect views of the lake. The food was delicious. I had the iceburger with French fries. It was perfectly cooked. The peach Kobler Dessert was delicious, and had 3 cups of ice and caramel sauce. The beer was good, many different styles, from standard ipas to 10% stouts and Belgium triple. The cherry tree was unique, but the Fairy Dust strong Ale was the best.
