"I have been here many times since 1999 for drinks, but I have never eaten here because I was staying at KISC. However, this trip I was with my wife and we were caught out in the rain after hiking down from the lake. We needed somewhere warm and with comforting food. This place hit the spot! We had the schnitzel which was very filling and washed down with a pint of Gurten. As far as I know, this is one of the few places to get a Gurten in Kandersteg! The staff were great as always. Always a pleasure to visit here."

Fluffige Pfannkuchen, serviert mit frischen Früchten und einem Hauch von Ahornsirup. Ideal für ein köstliches Frühstück.

Apfelstrudel

Hausgemachter Apfelstrudel, gefüllt mit saftigen Äpfeln und Zimt, serviert mit einer Kugel Vanilleeis und Schlagsahne.

Beilagensalat

Kleiner frischer Salat mit einer Auswahl an saisonalem Gemüse und Dressing Ihrer Wahl.

Ate here while staying at the hotel across the road. Large inside and just a few customers in wintertime. Rather a wait for the food but when it came it was delicious and a good plateful in fact I then didn't need a dessert! Tap water served on request and no service charge. Overall really good value for Switzerland.

This was a convenient place for lunch while staying at the Victoria over the road, but the food was a little disappointing. We had spinach ravioli with Gorgonzola, but the Gorgonzola was not very much in evidence. There was a lot of sauce, but it was not particularly tasty. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient, but perhaps the fact that it was virtually empty was an indication of the quality of the food. It was also quite pricey.

"Taste is good to very good. Hence 2 stars. I ordered 4 times and for the last time today. For today I requested delivery at 9:15 p.m. and it arrived at 7:40 p.m. When I asked why so early? Oh, I didn't see that, you can put it in the oven at 30 degrees. The other times there was the wrong side dish, for example Bon gustaio instead of the gnocci with tagliatelle I ordered and instead of herb butter with the fillet there was this red stuff. Sorry, but I find such statements very weak for the price. Luckily there are other restaurants in the area but I'll never go to yours again."

"The chocolate melange made you laugh and the cream was just about to go sour and warm, I have no idea how long it sat around until we got it. The waiter with his unkempt hair half tied up didn't even say hello because of the unfriendliness in person, it was really an imposition, and we wanted to help the waiter with the dirty dishes. Others say thank you, but I think something like that should be in the cellar and not allowed to serve the guests. But luckily there are other coffees in Einsiedeln that are a lot better. The service ladies are much nicer and more attentive, which is the only positive thing."

"Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auf den ersten Blick waren wir überrascht das Sonntags um 12 wenige PW auf dem grossen Parkplatz standen. Leider hatte es auch wenig Gäste im Restaurant. Der Kellner war jedoch sehr freundlich. Die Speisekarte genügend und zu angenehmen Preisen. Das Essen wurde schnell geliefert und war Fein. Richtig Thai. Wir werden wieder kommen. Das Restaurant liegt etwas ausserhalb in der Industrie und ich glaube zu den Preisen ist das Mittagessen sicher bescheiden."
