"We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. I went to this restaurant with a group of six people on a Saturday afternoon. The food was excellent, but the service was a bit sluggish. The place was quite crowded, and we had trouble getting our server's attention. I ordered the corned beef hash, which was delicious, but the portion size felt a bit small. Despite the slow service and small portion size, it is still a fantastic spot for breakfast or brunch.

I arrived early for the breakfast rush and found the restaurant to be quiet. The waitress seemed a bit bored and was on her phone, but she still looked after me and made sure my coffee was always filled. I had eggs and toast, which were cooked well. As more people came in and the waitress got busier, she still made sure to check on me. I don't usually go to diners, but I will definitely come back to this one next time.

"another firm on the only place we want to celebrate! eating was as delicious as ever. byron was our excellent server! thank you! the hot antipasto for two fed three of us with much to take to home. schrimp, baked muscheln, calamari, auberginen rollatini, fried zucchini, all so good. the pasta e fagioli is always so delicious. the ribeye steak with caramelized wobble and mushrooms was really enjoyed by our carnivore! the rigatoni di spago was delicious, and the third entrée, whose name I cannot remember, was a delicate chicken stable, not fried, with a delicate and tasty disc aubergine, also not fried, with a hauch of mozzarella and served with crunching carrots and green beans. everything looked beautiful, and unfortunately I forgot to make pictures until dessert. when they splurge do this with two of the best desserts, cannoli and lava cake. thanks stella trattoria!"

"The service was excellent, we got seated right away, everyone was very friendly, and the waitress was attentive and efficient. The food was fresh and tasty, very high quality. I had the Caesar salad which was crisp and had just the right amount of dressing. For the entree, I had the butternut squash ravioli in a truffle cream sauce which was delightful. It was the best butternut squash ravioli I've had in a long time. For dessert, I had the tiramisu which was delicious, it wasn't overly rich, just perfect. The beer flight for $8.00 was reasonably priced and there was a nice selection to choose from. We had a fantastic evening at La Tavola, we'll definitely be back!"

"I'm just excited about this amazing restaurant. Jerry. Paul, Denise and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. Another restaurant canceled my reservation when I headed a fundraiser for a local family. With two days I had to find another place. The Shrimp Francese was so delicious and of course the Tartufo. The staff was so friendly and everyone worked together so well. A really nice, warm, family atmosphere. Thank you."
