"Food was really good. I had the stuffed salmon and others had steak and chicken Marsala. Cocktails and desserts were also good. Love the gluten free options!!! I put noise higher because upstairs is small quarters and we could hear all of neighbors conversation, but they were also loud talkers. The best part was our waiter, Jeff! He was fantastic, very attentive, and funny. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends."

"A friend and I recently met at a fabulous restaurant Rosie’s Diner in Monument. For those that aren’t familiar, Monument is located on the North side of Colorado Springs and the US Air Force Academy. Rosie’s is kitchy and everything I would want in a nostalgic 1950’s diner experience! From the juke box to the dine in counter, it was really neat to learn that we have this throwback in our city! I tried the taco salad and it was perfectly prepared. The chicken was very tender and moist, the fried shell was crispy and perfect on the mound of creamy refried beans! My friend and I enjoyed our conversation, all while waitresses be bopped past our table at full speed, always making sure we were taken care of at every moment. As you can see from our faces, Rosie’s was a delightful experience! If you want to break out the poodle skirt or leather jacket, you will fit right in. If you are looking for an expansive menu to satisfy all diners’ tastes, Rosie’s has you covered too."

"Very disappointed with the establishment. We had high hopes, the reviews were all great, and every time we drive by the place is packed. Came on a Saturday night, around 10p. 4 people in our group. Sat ourselves, and after 10 minutes of sitting thought maybe we were supposed to be seated by someone. So we wait by the table by the front door for 4-5 minutes. The server who approached us told us to seat ourselves, so we went and sat at a different table than we did the first time. We sat there another 7-8 minutes with no greeting. Once our server came over, she gave us menus then ran off. Another 5-6 minutes go by and she asks what we want to drink, and if we are ready to order food. We go ahead and order both. Our appetizer comes out in less than 10 mins, that's great. About 10 minutes after that, our food comes out, that's also great. However, we have yet to receive any of our drinks. No waters, none of our bar drinks. I ask the guy that delivered our food if we could get some waters. About 6 minutes later, our server brings one person's drink (a pitcher of beer). Another 2-3 minutes, and we get the rest. My drink is wrong, but at this point I don't even care. Our checks were incorrect and had to be adjusted (price wise, not items). Overall food was 9/10, but service was so poor it ruined our night. The place had several open tables, and 3-4 servers, so there is no way things should have taken as long as they did. However, we will be trying this place again, in hopes we just had a bad experience."

"Kerri I have been regulars at La Rosa since Valentines Day 2013. We love this place, and it 's our favorite for weekend meals. Marina is a wonderful host, Melody is awesome, and everyone works hard to make sure your visit is memorable whether it 's your first time or 100th. Marina 's menu always has something new, but you can rely on trusted favorites (stacked enchiladas with an egg! every time. Red, green or mild, their homemade chile sauces are amazing. We always bring our friends and out-of-town relatives to this must visit Cantina in Palmer Lake. I 'm sure the desserts are great, but I 'm usually too full to have one. Great selection of tequila, by the way."
