"We loved the BBQ that they used to have. But they stopped serving that about a year ago they said. Which was kind of disappointing. Ordered the bread and cheese dips. It was old buns chopped up with seasoning and toasted. The beer cheese was fantastic. The other 2 not so much. We also ordered the wings which were frozen chicken nuggets. Would not recommend the 2 dishes we had. Sounds like they were trying to add new things to the menu. The service was great that is the onlyreason to rate this place 4 stars ??. Hopefully you add some decent freshly prepared food to the appetizer menu."

EXCELLENT food! Great atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Has both indoor and outdoor seating with a military theme. Close to I-94 and very scenic. Definitely worth it and will absolutely be back. Recommended to anyone who likes delicious food and unique brew! ????

The quality of the food was very good. Hot and fresh. The fish may have been cooked a little to long as the breading was a bit on the crunchy side, but aside from that it was great. The staff was very friendly, and the waitress explained the menu since it was our first time there. Very helpful and pleasant. I definitely will be going back!

An excellent find our first night in Oconomowoc. The server was a true delight; attentive, kind, and personable despite being extremely busy. We started with cheese curds (seems you have to when in Wisconsin). They were delicious, not greasy, and paired with beer cheese sauce and marinara. The main course was a burger for me and a brat for my husband, both really good. Husband had a flight of beer artfully served in an ammo box. Highly recommend for everyone.

"Celebrate my men rest with our neighbors of the next door. Our table had a beautiful view of the lake, live saxo guitar music from the bar, very personable waitress and excellent food made it a perfect evening. I had the Elk medals with angel hair paste, and my husband had the rib eyesteak. Everything was perfect until the strawberry cake we had to dessert. A small additional bonus for me was the long-sleeved T-shirt I bought from the lobby. Thanks for an unforgettable evening."

"use them to live this place. eating was amazing until they closed the inner and were taken out only due to covid. a month ago they finally opened the inner, but eating was terrible. the hunch 65 was dry and burned. then we ordered the spinach chicken and the chicken tiki marsala. the spinach chicken was so big with spinach. it tasted nothing like it used, and the huh tiki marsala was casual and tasteless. the service was so slow and the waiter never got drunk again until the food came. We were literally the only ones in there! even our garlic-Naan bread was dry and burned. it was brittle like a cracker. I hate to say that, but we won't go back. we use to come them often and even order to go often, but it seems as if the recipes were different, then use them to be. very disappointing! We've ever spent $60 for dinner."

"I've come my whole life on the mast. grew up on this lake and it really has a special place for my family. I chose my high time here (8/14/21), my parents had their high time reception here 40 years ago, and both my older brothers also held their reception here. it's such a beautiful place and it was without a doubt that I would have my own high time here. my only compliant function works with her event coordinator, she didn't seem to document any of our email exchanges. I sent a follow-up email 2 months before our high time and she was from the city. I was contacted by another person to inform me that they have not documented any of our meal selection when I received a confirmation email per month before what we decided. that disturbed me, so I planned a last session a week before our high time, only to check, all details were clearly documented and no ask. our day went perfectly without doubt, the staff was great, our ceremony space was perfect. we hadn't asked for anything. we still get compliments from our guests how great the food was (all meals, from vegan steak!) and how fast everyone got their food! I will recommend the golden mast to also deal with our hiccup with their event coordinator."

"I had the Roast Turkey Dinner real red mashed potatoes, mixed veg of green beans-baby carrots-red onion. Three generous slices of Turkey over apple-stuffing and topped with a flavorful (not salty) gravy. Served with a side of soup or salad I choose salad and it was a dinner plate of mixed greens-cucumber-grape tomatoes and home style ranch dressing. Dinner came with a half-price desert that I took to go (beautifully decorated white chocolate raspberry cheesecake). Husband had a Reuben sandwich (huge traditional-deli style) with a side salad. Interesting location beautiful really and very good food. We were in town for business and now willing to drive an hour for the opportunity to dine here again. I’d say for the desert alone but the meal was really good too! Friendly service."
