"Easily the best burger in town. If I'm coming through Placerville I've got to stop at Old Town Grill. The food is fresh and made with love. The owner John is an incredibly nice man who will remember your name for years and greet you kindly upon walking in on days he is working. The bacon blue cheese burger is a personal favorite. The outdoor seating area is well shaded and lovely. The decor is eclectic and the live parrot living inside the restaurant may not be for everyone but it certainly adds to the unique local charm of the restaurant. This is the lunch spot in Placerville. Don't let the lines scare you away, service is fast and the food is more than worth the wait."

"Fantastic staff. Hostess Tahlia and our server Sarah were very hospitable. Food was well made and portions were very satisfying. Restroom was clean without any problems. Dinning area was very clean and sanitary. Very low noise so we could talk at a normal conversation level. I would recommend trying the Deuce Coupe burger."

"This was really delicious. I went around 5pm and they weren't too busy. The service was great. There were some interesting menu items. I ordered Chicken Mango Curry (which included a generous portion of jasmine rice), Garlic Shrimp, and chicken Pad Thai. I was particularly impressed with the fresh garlic sauce on the shrimp. Really amazing flavor. I thought the prices were reasonable for Thai food and I'd definitely go back again!"
