"Received a call the day before to confirm my reservation and the special requests that I had made 2 vegan menus and that this was a birthday celebration), upon arrival we had to verify again the special requests. We were taken to a table with 4 place settings and they asked if they could clear the extra setting? We never asked for or stated there would be 4 in our party. Seems kind of like Denny's. The waiter was receptive and paid attention to orders of the table by informing or asking if we wanted gluten free or vegan. My son ordered off the kids menu and it was simply mac and cheese, no vegetable. We ordered the $14 dollar hand cut fries and I couldn't believe that I found multiple fries...

The only negative thing I can report is that service was too quick. Our entrees arrived before our bottle of wine. The corn puree that came with the expertly prepared bass, was cold. Otherwise, beautifully prepared food and an inventive menu!

Our server forgot to order one of the sides we ordered. When he realized his mistake, we were practically done with our meals and were no longer interested in the food. Even with this poor service, we were still forced to pay their 20% gratuity (food wine). I always thought a gratuity was paid to reward good service. Apparently not here....

First, the Summit restaurant itself is quite elegant. We found the menu very creative, especially the small plates. I ordered duck confit tostadas that were delicious. My husband loved the asparagus soup. The service was also excellent. Our waitress checked on us several times, and kept our water glasses filled. I highly recommend this estaurant.

"So delicious! We went for a walk downtown and decided to stop in because the door was open. Best choice we've made in a while. The gentleman behind the counter handed me some blonde chocolate. Never had it before, but I walked out with a bag! Made in store and totally worth the fat! I will be going back and trying something new next time."

"we were here earlier and had a great time with great food, about a year ago. there's something changed. the carpaccio was pasty, the wagyu flat iron steaks were hard and cold, and the framed spinat and mushrooms lacked salt / flavor. and the garnelen sampi steak that hit with the huge garnels was insensitive, the garnels were so overcooked that I literally had to bite as hard as I could get through the first one and I could not do the first. they were friendly enough to take the price of garnel from the bill. the ambiente was overwhelming, the piano player played so loud to override the gas house that everyone had to scream over him. it was as loud as a sporty one. my man, who is hard to hear, could not hear anything I said all the meal, and his service dog was also very concerned. overall, for a meal near $300 for 2 people with wein, appetizer, 2 main courses, 2 pages, and still a generous tipp for the waiter (that was not his fault, so why short him in a tipp,) we were incredibly disappointed and will not return."

"Oh, this is a great place for a leisurely family dinner. There is no loud music. You can talk to your family in peace. It's so unusual. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We arrived for dinner and found a place for us. I recommend taking snails according to the recipe from the chef. They are in an amazing creamy sauce with mushrooms. We were also surprised by the onion soup. It's easy to spoil it, but here it's gorgeous. We also liked the children's menu it is very homemade. The kangaroo meat was soft and delicious. I recommend to try it. The Sirloin steak was cooked superbly. The portions are human and that's great. We enjoyed the homemade salad. I liked the bar card. A large selection of drinks. It's a great place. Looks like we'll definitely be back."

"Jax has always been one of my favorite seafood places from back in the day in Denver before Rockies games. And while Jax is still a super solid albeit pricey call for food, their Happy Hour just isn 't the same as it once was. The amazing duck fried rice seems to be completely off the menu. The wedge salad, although still on the main menu, has been removed from HR. Replacing these (and other) classics seem to be riffs on gumbo that just isn 't that great. The always solid muscles have been reduced to only one preparation and the portion size is so dinky it bears no resemblance to what it used to be. It also comes with toast to soak up the delicious juice...one piece...my table of four had to fight over one dinky piece of toast. C 'mon Jax, stop cheaping out. As with so many things in the world, people seem to forget what got them to success and commit hari kari in the name of 'being new and fresh ', 'reinventing themselves ', or certainly apropos here, try to pinch a penny. You guys used to be so good..."
