"Heard this restaurant was serving Ecuadorean food decided to give it a try. I had been there years ago when it was just a Mexican restaurant but wasn’t a regular since I thought their food was average. I really enjoyed the encebollado with patacones (fried green plantains). It had delicious flavor, good amount of fish and yuca, but the ceviches are no where near an authentic Ecuadorean ceviche. It lacks the lime juice and generous amount of purple onion and cilantro. The service was very good, our waitress went above and beyond. The only reason I won’t give it it 5 stars is because it has a weird stench when you first walk in and bathrooms lacked attention. Great authentic Mexican food. Prices are reasonable, and food tase great. The furniture are all from Mexico (according to the owner) and look wonderful. See my photos.

Fantastic Mexican fare with EXTREMELY attentive and friendly staff. I had three different people wait at my table within the first minute. Food is a dollar or two pricier than other Mexican places, but with high quality and large portions. House margaritas are gigantic and delicious, and there is even a separate Ecuadorian menu for extra options. Friendly atmosphere, tons of decorations, great food, and phenomenal service. Definitely a hidden gem!
