"On our way to Denali park, early in the AM, we saw this place open, and were so grateful. It was really cold out, we had been driving for 2 hours so the idea of having a coffee was extremely welcomed. As we walked in, the smell of coffee brought a smile to my face. Their menu is written in blackboards hanging from the ceiling. Hot or Cold drinks, bagels, sandwiches, burritos and they have some pastries too. They also have some cute knickknacks for sale and a few seats if you don't want to go back out right away. Coffee was strong and hot, service was friendly and quick... Great place to stop if you are in the area and see it's open."

Super kind, good quality, and had some gluten free and dairy free options. GF Udis blueberry muffin and GF bobs Red mill oatmeal. A clean efficient stop prior to the busyness of Denali, with options for everyone in our group.

Darling little coffee shop, cute Halloween decorations. Knocking off 1 star because the gal behind the counter was an absolute dreadful person. I had a few questions about the menu and she replied back with pure rudeness. She was even rude to her co-worker, who was sweet to me. Other than that... I ordered a breakfast burrito which was really good.

Coffee is fantastic. We tried a latte, a cappuccino, a breve and a latte with sugar free vanilla. All delicious. Cappuccino and breve seemed the smoothest with breve being my favorite. We also bought a brownie with and m's. Brownie was 3.95. I'm pretty sure it's form a mix but it was gooey and fishy nonetheless. Enough for my family of 4 to have a small coffee snack. See pic for size. Coffee ranged from 3.50 to 7 for something called crack in a cup. Definitely better spot and better prices than what is in Denali downtown.

"We were camping in Denali Village for a couple of nights, and had been to my personal best restaurant there the night before, so i searched Yelp for something suitable for the 2nd night dining. 49th State Brewing got 4.3 stars so i thought it was acceptable. Anyway, the weather was pathetic and raining heavily, so no one was dining outside this (Friday) evening. That means of course there's a huge crowd in the dining room, and we were told there was a 45 minute wait for a table. I asked if bar seating was available, and it was, so we sat there. Th dining room itself is fairly nice, but of course being at the bar means you don't see too much of it, and all i could see were taps and bottles and a wall lined with birch trees. Ok then. I must say that the bar seating is cramped, and my elbows were hitting the person next to me a lot. I ordered a chicken bowl of some kind, and husband got a half rack of ribs. I got Strawberry Thyme lemonade, he got an IPA of some kind, i don't know, i don't drink alcohol. Food came out in due course, it was ok, chicken was tender, and whatever else was in the bowl was ok too. Nothing special, not bad, but not memorable either. He said his ribs were ok, but i saw the meat was falling off the bone, and good and juicy, which is my kind of rib. Service was prompt, and i got to see a lot of alcohol based action cocktails being mixed, flights being prepared, too foamy pours being discarded quite busy behind the bar. I think had i been able to sit at a table and have some room, and not feel cramped, I'd have given 4 stars instead of 3. Additionally, this is one of the 3 places i was at, during our stay (Moose AKa's, Denali Park Cafe, being the other 2) where i may have caught Covid which descended upon me the day i got home. This however, was by far the closest proximity I'd been to other people. I was informed by the doc there's a new variant going around that's highly contagious. I do think there needs to be more space between the bar stools for this reason."

"I would have given this review 5 stars but the service was just a touch under par. I?m flagging this as being a very busy day for the brewery and probably not a usual occurrence. The beer was cold, delicious, and they had a plentiful selection of the good stuff. The food was really quite good but dreadfully over priced. If your a family of 5 for lunch expect a bill north of $200 without considering a tip. I want to love this place because it?s got an amazing vibe and the staff was really very good in the end. All in all a solid local brewery."

"On our way to Fairbanks, we stopped at Rose’s for breakfast. We figured it was a good place to eat since all of the vehicles in the parking lot were pick-ups. We walked in, past the community announcement board, and were seated quickly. A very large and interesting menu, but we were interested in only breakfast. We ordered 2 coffees, a Denali omelette and a meat eaters omelette. You had multiple options for a side and we both ordered sourdough french toast. All I can say is WOW!! There were families, couples and singles filling the tables. I was amazed when a couple came in and there were no empty tables. The waitress asked an older gentleman if he would mind sharing his table. He obliged quickly and they joined him with smiles all around. This was a wonderful experience and if back, will return."

"Great American diner. Food fabulous. I'll never get used to being asked so many questions about my breakfast, everything is optional. When you are used to either a full or a mini breakfast, with no options, the 20 questions is quite an ordeal. I'm not used to choice, and having to think in the morning. So it's eggs sunny side up, linked sausages and french toast, all choices I wouldn't get at home. I'll find out when they open in the morning, we'll come back."

"The food was very good! The portions were large. The prices were reasonable. Food quality was good. Pleasant, lodge atmosphere. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Our server, Chané, was friendly and attentive! If you are in the area, I would highly recommend eating here."
