"Steve and Joy run the inn with love. We enjoyed ourselves so much for our romantic getaway last month that we had to return with our children, who also had a great time. The house, which is in the middle of all our favourite Pocono attractions, is beautifully decorated with nostalgic pieces of the original structure (including pictures that are framed with the original window panes), and kept in tip top shape. Steve and Joy are friendly and treated all the other guests and us like family. They even provide a breakfast that tops any breakfast we've ever received as part of a b&b or hotel stay by far. We heard Steve and Joy might be retiring and if it's true, we hope the next owners treat us...

My husband and i just got back this morning. Just a short two night getaway after the passing of our fur baby .we were greeted and welcomed by Mark and all i can say is we can’t wait to go back! Prime area with hikes at the Promiseland state park , and many other things to do .The rooms clean and Beautiful, food delicious , Beautiful sitting porch with rocking chairs . We just love this area .

Last night I was in a minor car accident just a few miles from the Frogtown inn. I called and was answered right away and the owner actually came and picked me up because I couldn’t get a tow due to bad weather. The place was an absolutely delightful stay, and I was greeted with kindness and comfort. I will defiantly going back for an actual planned stay with my girlfriend. Rooms were warm, bed was comfortable, breakfast was fantastic. I felt so welcomed and at home and I’m extremely grateful for getting picked up, as I would have had to sleep in my car in a snow storm. Thank you so much! For anyone considering a stay, the Frogtown inn is where you want to book your weekend get away!

"We were on vacation in the area and decided to give this place a try. The waitress was rather rude when we told her we didn't have reservations. She shook her head and rolled her eyes and walked away without saying a word. After waiting a few minutes we left. We will not recommend this place to anyone"

"11/10/23 first time here. Been wanting to come here for some time. Met my friend and we sat at the bar it was nice and a good craft beer selection. Frost (duo was playing and they sounded great and not too loud. We then moved into the dining room for dinner, i had the southwest rigatoni and it was good, interesting flavors. It could have been hotter, temps varied across different parts of the dish. It was a good sized portion too. I'd get it again. I let our server know, she offered to fix it but i was ok with it overall. Hopefully if YOU order it after reading this, the temperature of the food will be consistent : We had the pickle chips to start and my friend had the quesadilla good. I may have to get that next time. Tres leches for dessert was good and a nice size Service was good and friendly. I look forward to returning soon. "We live right here in Mountain Home. So ths is not a “weekender” sending in a review. If it wasn’t the BEST place ever, tje locals would never go back. Aside from that, they make the absolutely most wonderful sandwiches and Rays homemade soups are fantastic. Also aside, the folks that work there go above and beyond to help you with your order. Friendly , cheerful, it’s the place you go when you need a lift, coffee or smile wise. Spend a little time there, if you want “in and out” in 10 minutes, to go a fast food place on the highway. Those of us here in town love the atmosphere and the friendship. Weekend welcome, too."

"As locals, we knew about this place, but never found the right time to go. Now that we have, I wish we had tried it out sooner! The Mediterranean style calamari was fantastic, especially for Barrett Township expectations. We will have to get back here again soon. "It was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and it truly exceeded my expectations! Our hosts and owners of the home, Marty and Gail, were an absolute pleasure. I was afraid I'd feel uncomfortable in someone else's home, but that was not the case at all. They were very helpful without being too overbearing. Breakfast alone was worth the stay. The home is wonderfully decorated with lots of attention to detail. It's in proximity to most attractions. The negative reviews I read are absolutely ridiculous because clearly some people expected a 5 star Hyatt hotel with the bells and whistles, which this is not. Its perfectly cozy and a nice relaxing place to get away from the busy city life. THANK YOU MARTY AND GAIL!"
