"I have decided to go to small business owners restaurants and skip fast food spots all together as the service at fast food is often bad and the food is never fabulous. I tried the Goodway Grille today as it is right by my work and the reviews were great. I was not disapointed. I got the double cheeseburger and fries and it was soooo good. Soooo big and lots of cheese, which I LOVE. Lots of fixins on top without an extra charge. The french fries were also sooo good. Very happy with my lunch. On top of that, service is so important to me and the owner was so nice and is the one who prepares the food which is all fresh! I will be back, you will see my face again. Paid $8 dollars for 2 slices of thin crust pizza that was cold in the middle!! Highly unsatisfied will not be going back!!

First time in Milwaukee, I was driving around and I checked for places to eat, it was the closer so I drove there. When I arrived I saw people barbecuing outside, it was smelling so good. I parked and while I was walking in everyone greets me with a smile. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly!I’d definitely go back if I’ll be in Milwaukee again.

"Thought this would be more interesting than it was; Oysters on the half shell were served at room temp not on ice... very old interior and unimaginative menu. It was OK we had fun anyway. The server seemed inexperienced but tried hard and that was appreciated. With all of the other area restaurants I'm not sure I'd go back, although we were there on a Monday and I understand they have a better vibe during busier nights."

"let me start from the moment I arrived, until the moment I went, I was treated so well by all the staff. this place has a deep feeling, and that was an experience you can get nowhere else. the host who took our beverage order donna was so incredibly friendly and up to the earth, it felt like making a new girlfriend. the waitress we had (I can't remember her names, but she had dark hair and a fan to make sure she wasn't heated over while serving that I thought was an incredible idea) was exceptional at point and friendly. she made sure we took care of every moment when she noticed something was running low on our table. we were so comfortable with her, we could talk about everything! she was amazing! they start at the bar where they can order a drink and plan their order. Once they have ordered their food, they close their tab at the bar and then they are moved to their edible for their meal. they get a radishes board that includes sweet, pickel, olive and paprika. it was a delicious start and is free with its meal along with brot and salat. my coworker and I ordered both a rib eye. we shared a side of creamy spinat and sparing (the side orders are more than enough to share I did not want my steak rare or medium rare, but in between, and the boil nailed it. the outside of my steaks was perfectly presumed with a delicious crust. the au jus was a bit salty for my pleasure, but it has improved the taste of the steaks. my steak was perfectly boiled where it melted in the mouth with little wall on chew. I almost cried, that was good. I was so incredibly impressed by all the experience, I will be more than happy to make sure that I have this restaurant every time I have to say to wisconsin (I am from ohio but travel to wi for the work the only thing I have to tell the owners are: bravo"
