I asked for no balsamic reduction and just olive oil and vinegar for my medium steak BLACK AND BLUE SALAD (can 't eat the sugar)Got well done steak, balsamic reduction drizzled on the whole thing and something that was supposed to be vinegar on the side but it looked like broth. Atmosphere was fine. A little loud in the dining area for 7pm on a Saturday. Food was good drinks priced right and the waitress was on point. Only complaints is the size of the appetizers for the price you pay.

After the restaurant(s) that formerly occupied this space closed, I was concerned as to whether or not the food quality of a new place would live up to previously established culinary standards. I am happy to say that Griffon Gastropub definitely does my picky, carnivorous grandmother, my low carb father, my vegetarian mother, and my younger brother and I all can eat dinner at the gastropub with absolutely no problem! The spicy vegan burger is amazing, and the cheese steak is wonderful, too. I like to swap out my French fries for their charred broccolini, or another one of their fabulous vegan sides.

they have two vegan options on the menu: the beyond burger and a homemade black bohnenburger. both came with vegan cheese and many toppings, as well as great fresh cuts. delicious burgers and normally I am not a fan of black bohnenburgers (they are super dry imho). but both were impressive burgers. they have an impressive tap list, with a tonne native beer and also ciders, which was cool! they also make flights. only bummer is that the burgers are the only vegan options on the menu. it would be nice if they had a few more options, like appetizers and maybe a non-burger main option. especially, as they have made so good with the burgers, I bet their other vegan options would be great! how is...
