"Finally after a year living here and having a friend visit, I decided to try The Barrel Room. Ambiance is great, a little tight inside but cute. Arrived at 6:30pm and was seated. Took a bit to receive our drinks and water as well as order....then it just went down hill. After finally getting up to let the bartender know it had been over an hour since ordering and everyone arriving after us was getting their meals AND dessert, they brought our food out finally at 8:45pm. We ask to just take to go. They did give us a discount which I was happy about and I understand these things happen. Once home though, the food was not cooked.....ordered the Grilled Steak and potatoes x2 and the Lobster Mac...

My family and I stopped in for brunch 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t stop thinking of the avocado smash, brûlée French toast and shrimp and Grits. So I came back today to pick up our Togo order. It’s was delicious at home as well. Ahhhh happy palette and belly. We love this place.
