"After passing by this restaurant numerous times, we finally decided to stop and give it a try. Our main takeaway from the experience is to enjoy the cocktails and stick to the burgers and sandwiches. The staff was friendly and attentive, with no complaints there. The cosmos were delicious and reasonably priced. However, things got a bit odd when my husband ordered the chicken Alfredo fusilli dinner. It was topped with what seemed to be a marsala sauce, which he described as a beef gravy mixed with red wine. It was edible but not what we expected. The food was excellent and the service from the waiter was great. Although a bit expensive, the quality of the food made it worth the cost.

We had a fantastic experience celebrating our daughter's birthday on December 8th. The food was delicious with generous portions cooked perfectly. The owners and staff were incredibly accommodating. We would definitely make the trip from Long Island again. Great job to everyone involved, and a special thank you to our son-in-law for choosing such a wonderful venue!

"I placed a phone order for pickup, the server who helped me was nice and knew which menu items were vegan. I had the Vegan Hot BBQ Wings, Vegan Mac Cheese Balls, and Vegan Crabcake salad, and everything was great! The restaurant is 20 minutes from my house, but I am totally willing to make the trip again ASAP, hopefully one day soon can eat in and have a beer, too. Highly recommend!"

"Lady on the phone was polite when I put in my order. Older white haired lady ignored me when I came to pickup my sandwich. I'm hard to miss at 5'10 with this beautiful brown skin. I spoke again. Still no response. Maybe because they're so far up in the sticks she hasn't noticed racism is DEAD haha Sandwich was cool not perfect not terrible."

"I just want to say that the experience here was not as welcoming as I had hoped, especially given its Japanese roots. The building itself is 500 years old and was taken apart and reconstructed to become a restaurant. It featured beautiful Japanese gardens for leisurely strolls, along with various terraces and koi ponds. The food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but unfortunately, the gardens have fallen into disrepair, which feels disrespectful. The koi fish are gone, and now the restaurant seems to focus on decent food—though not as exceptional as it once was—and the chefs put some effort into creating a hibachi display, but it’s just not the same as before. The atmosphere is quite odd, with R&B music blaring from the speakers, which feels completely out of place. The modern decor has replaced the original wooden floors, and I can't help but wonder why that change was necessary. I wouldn’t categorize the experience as strictly good or bad; it's just different and a bit awkward. In my opinion, many people may lean toward the negative side of things."

"I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to with this restaurant. My family and I went to Jamaica a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with Jamaican food, J chicken specifically. Since then, we’ve gone to several Jamaican restaurants in search of food as good as what we had in Jamaica and have yet to find anything close. Well, we had Grand Mango Caribbean’s J Chicken, rice and plantains last night. The food is RIDICULOUSLY good. Just like in Jamaica!! We are so happy to have found this place. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We are actually going back tonight for more!"

"Great diner by Woodbury Commons with excellent choice of low priced items. The portions are quite generous, the food was delicious, especially the pulled pork quesadilla the chicken tacos and the Greek salad with blackened chicken. Service is excellent! Fast, caring and very nice people looking after customers. Great spot !"
